WHEREAS, the City of McLoud is amending fees for those services offered to the citizens of the City of McLoud in order to
perform such duties in the best interest of the City.
AND WHEREAS, these fees are established to effectively operate the City of McLoud as a sound financial
agency;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the following fees are hereby set:
BUILDING PERMITS
NEW STRUCTURE, REMODELS AND MOVE IN (Plus $4.50 state fee)*
BUILDING PERMITS CANNOT BE ISSUED WITH A ZONING CLEARANCE PERMIT FIRST,
ALLOW UP TO 3 DAYS FOR APPROVAL BY THE CITYCLERK; ALL BUILDING PERMITS MUST
ADD $25.00 INSPECTION FEE & $4.50 STATE FEE. THE PERMIT FEE WILL TRIPLE if any person
commences construction prior to obtaining a permit. (State law reference – 59 O.S.§1696 and all city
ordinances may be referenced at the McLoud Library, the City Hall or online at www.mcloudok.us.

HOMES ONLY ALLOWED ON 5 AC OR MORE (zoned Agriculture), must be 24 feet wide and no more than 3

MOVING PERMIT
MOVING PERMIT MUST ADD $25.00 INSPECTION and STATE FEE of $4.50
THE PERMIT FEE WILL TRIPLE if any person commences construction prior to obtaining a permit.
(State law reference – 59 O.S.§1696.
State Department of Transportation handles mobile homes.
No permit required for buildings less than 13 ½ feet high or 14 feet long.
No permit sold for building over 22 feet high or 50 feet long.
Permit fees based on width:
14 feet to 24 feet = $ 50.00
25 feet to 30 feet = $100.00
31 feet to 50 feet = $150.00
ALL MOVING PERMITS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH PROOF OF LIABILITY POLICY FROM THE HOUSE
MOVER AND ALL UTILTIIES SIGNED OFF BY ENGINEERS PRIOR TO MOVING STRUCTURE. Permit
cannot be issued to owner.

ELECTRICAL PERMITS (Plus $4.50 State fee)*
ALL ELECTRICAL PERMITS MUST ADD $25.00 INSPEC FEE & $4.50 STATE FEE, unless otherwise
noted. THE PERMIT FEE WILL TRIPLE if any person commences construction prior to obtaining a
permit. (State law reference – 59 O.S.§1696. Any electrical contractor who proceeds to do work requiring
a permit, without following the requirements of the City Ordinance and NEC shall be assessed double the
amount of the fee that should have been paid. The office of the inspector may require plans and specs on
all elecrtrical work being performed prior to inspection. Electric service will not be turned on without
inspection approval and call from the inspector to the Electric Company. It shall be unlawful for any
person to alter any electric work after its final inspection without obtaining a permit for installation,
repair or alteration.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the McLoud City Council that the Permit Fees dated DECEMBER 21,
2010, RES 2205, are superseded, effective immediately.
Resolution 2231 is ADOPTED this 26th day of July 2012, at a regularly scheduled meeting of the McLoud City
Council in compliance with the Open Meeting Act, 25 O.S. et seq.
