INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPECIMEN SUBMISSION
 Samples are accepted from 09:30 Monday through 17:30 Friday.
 Samples must be individually labelled with the name/identification marker of the individual and date of collection

For HLA typing, 2 ml EDTA (lavender top) whole blood or 1 buccal swab is needed (room temperature). Heparinized samples will not be accepted. Purified DNA should be at a concentration 15-30 ng/μl with an OD 260/280 between 1.7 and 1.9

Frozen samples should be shipped on a minimum of 5 pounds of dry ice.

Refrigerated samples should be shipped on ice packs.

The package must be shipped according to the national legislation and the carrier's guidelines in regard to biohazardous material. Please inform appropriately and follow the instructions of your carrier for current biohazardous shipping regulations.
