Prof. Dr. Zeinab Mohamoud Mobarak Prof. Mobarak, Research Professor Emeritus of Plant Nutrition, Fertilization Technology Department, NRC, Cairo – Egypt, was born on October 14, 1942. Graduated from Alexandria University in 1964, with B. Sc. in Agriculture. Awarded the M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Cairo University in Plant Physiology in 1977 and 1985 respectively. Prof. Mobarak held the following position in NRC Research assistant, 1969. Associated lecturer, 1977. Researcher, 1985. Associate Research Professor, 1994. Research Professor, 2001. Research Professor Emeritus since 2002. Prof. Mobarak participated in several research projects: "Micronutrients and other Plant Nutrition Problems in Egypt" supported by FRG Ministry of Economic Co-operation and Egyptian ASRT. "Optimization of the use of Micronutrient Fertilizers". Salt Control Project. "Control of Stalinization and combating desertification effect in the Mediterranean region". Supervised 3 Ph.D and 1 M.Sc. theses. Participated in several international and regional conferences. Author of over 30 papers published in national and international journals and conference.
