Group Booking Information
Arrival Procedure
It is extremely important that you are on site for your booked arrival time as the rock production
process is timed to your entry. If you are late we cannot guarantee to admit your group and you will
lose your deposit. Please notify us as soon as possible if you think you may be late arriving.
Please do not unload your group from the coach until the group leader has signed in.
The group leader should report to the main reception (if open) or the shop. Final group numbers
and payment will be taken at this point, and any activity stickers will be issued to the group leader to
distribute amongst the group.
Groups taking part in the rock rolling activity should aim to line up for the activity in alphabetical
order to reduce any waiting time.
Larger Groups (55+)
Larger groups may need to split into two groups, particularly if taking part in the activities. The first
group will enter the tour at the booked entry time, whilst the second group can either enter the tour
from a different entry point or can browse in the shop. When the first group has left the rock
viewing area (after approx 20 minutes), the second group can then enter the start of the tour.
Candy Kingdom Bookings
Price includes 2 hours of play, use of a party room to eat and work in, and a cup of cordial juice.
Children must wear socks to play in and we recommend trousers and long sleeved tops for play. This
is an unsupervised attraction and you will need to ensure children are supervised on the play
equipment and in the party rooms.
Supervision
This is a self-guided tour and we do not provide any supervision. It is therefore important that the
group leader ensures the tour is adequately supervised for the age group as this is a working factory.
A written risk assessment is available on request.
Payment
A £20 deposit is required once the booking has been confirmed. The final payment will be required
prior to group entry and will be for the actual numbers on the day. Payment can be made by cash,
credit or debit card, or cheque. A receipt will be issued to the group leader.
