The Polyclinic welcomes three new physician specialists
SEATTLE, Wash. – Three new board certified specialists have recently joined The
Polyclinic: Mitchell D. Cahn, MD, FACS, vascular surgeon; Michael Bolton, MD,
PhD, infectious disease specialist and Travel Medicine at The Polyclinic physician;
and Michael Williams, MD, endocrinologist. All three physicians are accepting new
patients.
Dr. Cahn received his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of
Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at the University of California Irvine
Medical Center and vascular surgical fellowship at the University of Massachusetts
Medical Center. Dr. Cahn’s practice covers all aspects of vascular surgery with both
open and endovascular techniques including aneurysms, carotid disease, peripheral
circulation, renal and mesenteric circulation, dialysis access and venous disease. He is
available to see patients primarily at The Polyclinic Vascular Surgery in Edmonds, and
he may be reached at 425-775-1865.
Dr. Bolton received his medical degree from the University of California San
Francisco School of Medicine, San Francisco, California and a PhD from Tulane
University, New Orleans, Louisiana in molecular and cellular biology. He completed
his fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Washington in Seattle and the
Emory University J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Bolton’s practice encompasses all areas of infectious disease treatment including
HIV primary care, HIV immunology and vaccine development, and tropical and travel
medicine. Dr. Bolton’s practice will be at The Polyclinic Madison Center, and he may

Dr. Michael Williams joined The Polyclinic Madison Center from Virginia Mason
Medical Center, where he practiced since 2008. Dr. Williams is a graduate of the
University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill Medical School. He completed his
residency in internal medicine at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center
and completed a clinical and research fellowship in endocrinology, also at the

University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. He has a special interest in diabetes, thyroid and
