Participants to note general warning notices

Avoid areas of t rees in high winds; move with care; wear sensible shoes; don’t climb on stones

Use lay-bys (and associated paths) not verge

All car parking in King Stone field to be marshalled

All movement in and out of King Stone field to be marshalled if over 20 vehicles

Warning signs to be placed in road if overflow parking used

Organisers to check weather forecast

Participants to bring appropriate clothing, sunblock etc

Events should not proceed in extreme weather conditions

Organisers to check for any specific needs and arrange help for disabled/ infirm etc. Individual health/ disability issues

Welfare

Misuse of alcohol or other drugs

Mobile toilet may be hired by organisers through the Trust for any event (encouraged if over 2 hrs or 20 people)

Organisers to ensure illegal drugs are not used (if seen the event will be closed immediately and police called)

Organisers responsible for preventing excessive consumption of alcohol brought and served (specify types)

Participants getting excessively drunk/ violent to be expelled and event stopped

 For regulated entertainment extra H&S details must be given and a licence obtained from the Local Authority….

Alcohol may o nly be sold if the organisers have obtained a licence from the Local Authority ………………………

Entertainment and sale of alcohol

Fires

Loud music paying performance

Risk of burns; damage to site

Risk of burns; wax etc on stones/lichens

Only allowed if fire dishes provided by the Trust are available and used in approved manner and positions ........

To be used at controlled events only with fire extinguisher to be on hand.

Site staff required to instruct/ supervise use and disposal of cinders

Candles only allowed if placed in jam jars

Fire torches only allowed if positioned and secured from falling on participants or stones
