Trash Pick Up General Trash All general trash will be placed in containers or bundles. Refuse which cannot be placed thusly, will be handled as Bulk Trash (see below). Schedule Trash collection for Matsonford Commons is on Mondays. Note: There will be no collections on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Primary Election, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, General Election, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Placement for trash collection Trash shall be picked at curbside and shall be so placed no earlier than 8:00 pm the evening before the day of collection. PLEASE BE SURE TO COLLECT YOUR CONTAINERS PROMPTLY AFTER YOUR TRASH HAS BEEN PICKED UP. Bundles All papers, cartons, boxes, and crates shall be collapsed and securely tied in bundles not to exceed 50 lbs in weight. Bulk Trash On the last Thursday of the month, January through October, the Borough shall collect trash in bulk including items of furniture and appliances. Stickers for the following items are needed and can be purchased at Borough Hall, 112 Ford Street, West Conshohocken, PA, (610)828-9747: Refrigerators and Air Conditioners: $10.00 per appliance Tires: $4.00 per tire Snow Policy Refuse collection shall be suspended after any snowfall of at least four (4) inches until snowplowing of streets has been completed. No person shall place refuse along any street for collection during such time. Are your tenants moving out or are you selling your house? The Borough does not have the means to clean out an entire house. Contract with a firm for a dumpster and coordinate delivery and location with a member of the Board. Any violations from the above could affect any future trash collection. Be advised that the Borough will not pick up Contractor's materials. Recycling Wednesday is recycling day. Cardboard, bottles, cans, and newspapers are collected and should be placed curbside for pickup.
