Archaeological monuments
Otomani village, Sălacea
Neolithic era comes with a bronze pickaxe with cross arms.
The Bronze Age is represented by three settlements:
- "Citadel" (Várhegy), fortified settlement with ditches and streams of defense. Based
on the significant findings of the material culture of this settlement was named
Ottoman culture. Settlement belongs to the phases I and II of the Ottoman culture
(Early and Middle Bronze Age);
- "Before the island" (Elösziget), settlement transition populated in the end of phase I
of the culture;
- "City from earth" (Földvár) Er River marshy area was a settlement long-term from the
phase II of Otopeni culture until the late Bronze Age.
