Founder of NGO ‘Izvor’(Source) – Society for promotion of traditional culture which
started projects in rural revitalization and development, agrotourism and cultural tourism,
dealing especially by linking traditional culture and economy; traditional rural economy
and related skills. (Projects: Panel on cultural tourism in Sopot near Belgrade; Survey on
local handicrafts in Vlasotince, southeast Serbia; Organizing fair of traditional crafts in
Jakovo, near Belgrade; production of documentaries; self-financing field research and
papers issued in various publications).
Currently the head of the visual anthropology department at the Ethnographic Museum
and the leader of strategic planning process in the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade.
He set up a network of volunteers (students of ethnology) for activities within the
Ethnographic Museum.
Topics of special interest: entrepreneurship and innovations in cultural affairs and
cultural policy, inclination towards multidisciplinarity.
He was recently appointed the National Coordinator for intangible cultural heritage by
the Ministry of culture of Serbia.
