Naturally Herbal Herbal Ointments THE ARTHRITIS GIFT Instruction Sheet Contains two 30 ml jars of Arnica and Comfrey ointments, plus instruction leaflet and reorder form in a clear cellophane bag. Please note that these ointments are Olive Oil based and therefore a “little bit goes a long way”. Generosity only causes wastage and excess greasiness. Please be aware that bedding could become stained or soiled if protection is not used during treatment. Arnica Relieves pain and prevents infection, promotes healing, has an antibacterial action, anti-inflammatory, and causes reabsorbtion of internal bleeding in bruises and sprains. You can also rub it on your temples for headache relief and on feet and hands for chilblains. Many of my customers have recommended the use of Arnica for treating Arthritis and though I believe that the Comfrey Ointment is the most suitable, by combining a mixture of both the Arnica and Comfrey Ointment a good result could be obtained. Contains: Comfrey, Olive Oil and Bees Wax Application Instructions Rub a small amount of Arnica Ointment into the affected area and massage it in well. Once the Arnica Ointment has sunk in, apply the Comfrey Ointment over the top and massage in well. These two creams can be used as often as desired, however, 2-3 applications per day for severe Arthritis should be sufficient. Store the ointments in a cupboard or drawer that is not exposed to sunlight when not in use, to prevent them from going rancid. When stored correctly, these two creams have an approximate shelf life of one year. Heat Rub Instructions To make a warming heat rub, apply the Comfrey Ointment to the affected area and massage well. Sprinkle a very small amount (approximately 4-6 GRAINS) of Cayenne Pepper over the ointment and massage well. The Cayenne Pepper acts as a warming agent in conjunction with the ointment to soothe muscle aches and pains. Place half a pinch of Cayenne Pepper into your socks, slippers and gloves to warm up cold feet, cold hands and for chill blains. WARNING Cayenne Pepper is extremely potent on skin surfaces and should not be added in generous quantities or severe burns will result. Approximately quarter of a pinch will suffice. Generosity with Cayenne Pepper in cooking is fine, but generosity on your skin is not! Contains: Arnica Essential Oil, Olive Oil and Bees Wax. Warning – Arnica should never be applied to broken skin and should be applied sparingly to sensitive skin. Comfrey Commonly known as ‘Knit-bone’. For use on broken bones, muscle damage, sprains, strains, dislocations, gardening aches and pains and combined with the Arnica Ointment, it is especially good for Arthritis. Comfrey, has been widely used in the treatment of broken bones, sprains, strains and more recently to treat most forms of Arthritis. Comfrey can also be used to relieve aching or tired muscles and makes a fabulous massage ointment. If you have any questions or require further supplies, please phone Lisa Walker on 021 0385120.
