CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules. The Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel any class or event, divide any class, alter times, and/or refuse entry with or without stating the reason. Neither the Organising Committee of this event nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property. For pony club members, PCAV club member cards must be inspected before riding. Medical armbands must be worn by all riders. Correct ‘standards’ numbered helmet must be worn. Spot checks may occur and incorrect helmet will mean elimination. All stewards and Judges are instructed not to hold up rings unless for Champions. Riders will need to choose preference in case of a class clashing in another ring. Gear check is compulsory for Pony Club rings only. All pony club riders will be gear checked as part of the best presented class. Protests, queries and horse abuse rules as per the PCAV Handbook. No stallions, colts or rigs allowed All open riders must sign a day attendance form and if a current pony club card cannot be presented pay an additional $10.00. PCAV Alcohol Policy applies. No lungeing permitted at this competition. Unfortunately we have room for only one horse per competitor for pony club, novice and Topsy Rings Plaiting is optional in all classes, except Topsy Ring where plaiting is not permitted. Once tickets have been purchased, no refunds will be given. If a current pony club card cannot be presented, riders must sign a day attendance form and pay an additional $10.00. Riders may be led if required. Housekeeping Requirements and Suggestions All float parking is on the cross country course, entry via Lithgow Street. Visitor car parking in Community Centre Car Park but no floats permitted here. Ticket and raffle sales are inside pony club shed. We suggest bringing container of water for your horse to drink, as the only water tap is outside pony club shed. Toilets are located in round concrete construction next to pony club shed. Please ensure all rubbish brought onto the reserve is taken away with you. Could all Open, Novice, Freshman’s and Topsy riders please have your day attendance form filled in prior to presenting to the ticket office to save time and ensure speedy service. Non-pony club members must pay $10 per day of participation. Pony club members (PCAV and Interstate) do not pay the fee providing they present their pony club card to prove they are current club members. If a pony club card is not presented, the $10 fee must be paid. Non-pony club members are covered for public liability insurance only under the PCAV Insurance policy. Day attendance entitles the participant to be covered under the Pony Club’s Equine Liability Insurance Policy only. This means, if the participant becomes legally liable to pay damages arising out of accidental bodily injury to any person and/or accidental property damage, the Insurer will indemnify the participant subject to the Limit of Indemnity specified in the Schedule subject to the policy terms and conditions. There is no personal accident cover for non-pony club members.
