Open – horses bitted according to their age, full Western or English attire Senior Horse 6 years and over ridden in a bit one handed, Junior Horse 5 years and under ridden in a snaffle, hackermore or bit 2 handed Halter and Showmanship classes – all horses to be shown in a leather halter Hunter In Hand – Yearlings to be shown in a plain leather halter, Horses 2 years and over to be shown in a plain leather cavesson bridle, no drop or hanoverian nosebands.
