Foreign Policy letter of recommendation to the President of the United States
Directions: You are to write a formal letter of recommendation to the President. Your
recommendation will help the President decide how to handle the current problem in your
assigned region (Puerto Rico, Mexico, China etc.) This letter should be at least 3
paragraphs. The first paragraph will explain current situation/problem that exists. The
second paragraph will identify your recommendation and explain what the risks and
benefits are if the U.S. follows this course of action. The third paragraph will explain
why the other two forms of engagement are not the best solution. Be sure to include as
much detail and facts as you can.
