Mission
The Freshman Leadership Council seeks to provide personal, professional, and leadership growth opportunities for a select
group of first-year students through leadership development, service, programming, and educational experiences that impact
the University of Florida student body and surrounding community. Guided by the core values of commitment, unity,
innovation, integrity, diversity, and service, we strive to inspire and develop future leaders of the Gator Nation.

II. Please answer the following, observing the 10-12 pt. font and using no more than one page total for all five questions.
a. What motivates you to become involved in the Freshman Leadership Council? What do you hope to contribute to
the program?

III. Membership Requirements
a. Attend the first FLC meeting (Tuesday, September 23rd at 6:30pm)
b. Attend all other FLC weekly meetings Wednesdays at 6:30 pm
c. Attend the FLC Fall Workshop (Sunday, October 5th)
d. Attend the FLC Spring Workshop (TBA)
e. Earn the required number of credits per semester as designated by the established point system
