(Jacob and Kristine holding hands and close)
Kristine: Babe, do you think we’d be like this forever?
Jacob: of course, babe! I don’t think of it. I believe in it.
Kristine: (Looks at Jacob) I love you so much.
Jacob: I love you more than you do love me, babe.
Kristine: (Smiles)
SCENE 2: (In the restaurant) While eating……
Jacob: Eunice, I’m here because I want to tell you something
Eunice: Oh of course, Jake. I’m always here to hear you. Now what is it?
Jacob: I’m marrying Kristine.
Eunice: (Shocked) What?!
Jacob: Why, what’s wrong?
Eunice: You can’t marry her! She’s not for you!
Jacob: (Sighs) Eunice, I know you don’t like her and I don’t know why. But
please, as my best friend, can you accept her?
Eunice: Well, fine. Only because I can see that you’re happy.
Jacob: Thank you so much. Now can you help me setup my proposal surprise? 
Eunice: Sure  Well, Kristine is a simple girl. I think she appreciates
simple things.
Jacob: And what else?
Eunice: You have to see her tonight. At St. Mark’s Square! I know you know
it’s her favorite spot!
Jacob: Oh we love that spot! That is where we first met.
Eunice: See? That explains it! I’ll do all the decorations and setup. All you
have to do is arrange yourself, and think of why you want to do this 
Jacob: Thank you, Eunice! I owe you so much! (EMBRACES EUNICE)
SCENE 3: (In St. Mark’s Square) Proposal Time
(Jacob covering Kristine’s Eyes) *All formal wear*
Kristine: Baby! What is this? I’m not used to surprises, you know that!
Jacob: Well babe, I’m sure you will like this one 
Kristine: (Laughs)
Jacob: Now open your eyes.
(KRISTINE OPENS HER EYES AND SAW THE PLACE SO BEAUTIFUL)
Kristine: Oh my! What is this baby?
Jacob: (Faces Kristine and holds her hand) Babe, we shared love with each
other for 4 years now. And I think this is the right time to do this. I love
you so much and now I want you to be the biggest part of my life. (Kneels)
Will you have the pleasure to marry me?
Kristine: (Teary-eyed) Oh baby, you don’t know how long I did wait for this.
I love you too so much and yes, I will marry you.
Jake: (Stands up and embraces Kristine)
SCENE 4: (In the boutiques of wedding rings)
Paula: Yes Miss and Mister? What do you need?
Jake: We’re looking for a wedding ring miss. May I see what you got?
Paula: Of course. Here are they. (Show some ring)
(Jake gets a ring and faces Kristine)
Jake: Babe, do you like this one?
Kristine: Babe, I will like any ring. Just as you and I are the one who’s
going to wear it.
Jake: Oh, I love you. Miss, we will take this ring.
Paula: Thank you sir and ma’am. God bless you on your wedding day 
SCENE 5: Alyssa’s House
(Glenn and Ethan eating and talking)
Ethan: Dad, why are there so many food, is there anything to celebrate?
Christian: Son, your sister had left me some note this morning to prepare for
this night, and cook many foods. I don’t know why.
Ethan: Oh maybe she’ll bring her boy friend here?
(Jake and Kristine enters)
Ethan: See dad?
Jake: Good evening, sir and Ethan.
Kristine: Good evening daddy and Ethan.
Glenn: (Gets up and kiss Kristine on the cheeks) (Shake hands with Jacob)
Kris, Jake, take a seat we’re probably eating and your timing is good.
(Jake and Kristine take a seat)
Glenn: Kristina, what is the note for?
Kristine: Daddy, we got something to tell you.
Glenn: What is that?
Kristine: Jake, tell him
Jacob: I’m marrying your daughter sir.
Ethan: Wow!
Glenn: Oh, Jacob! We do agree with that, just promise us you’ll take care of
her and love her endlessly.
Jacob: Yes, sir. I promise I will, with all my heart. I love your daughter so
much.
Glenn: And we love her too. Anything that makes her happy will make us happy
too.
Kristine: I am happy daddy. Thank you so much. I love you guys.
Ethan: Sister, Congratulations.
Kristine: (Smiles) thank you Ethan.
(ALL STANDS UP AND GROUP HUG)
SCENE 6: The Wedding Day
(Wedding song playing)
Eunice: Jake, I’m so happy for you. 
Jacob: Thank you Eunice, I know you will be. Now where is my bride?
Eunice: Oh, you know girls. She’s probably still isn’t finish about her
grooming stuff. So relax. She’ll come. She loves you so much.
Jacob: I love her too so much, and I trust her.
(WEDDING CAR ARRIVES)
Eunice: There she is, Jake. Now relax and be happy!
(Jake prepares his self)
Ethan: Everybody! Go to your places for the bride is here.
(EVERYBODY GO TO THEIR PLACES)
(Kristine with Christian enters)
(Wedding March for 10 seconds)
(Reached the groom)
Glenn: (Teary-eyed) Please take care of my daughter. I love her so much
Jacob: Yes, sir I will. I promise ‘till the day I die.
Glenn: Thank you, Jake. I know you are a good man. (HANDS KRISTINE TO JACOB)
(JACOB AND KRISTINE ON THEIR WAY TO THE ALTAR)
Father: We are all here to witness the union of Kristine Elizabeth Wright and
Jacob Harris. "Jacob and Kristine - Today you enter as individuals, but you
will leave here as husband and wife, blending your lives, expanding your
family ties, and embarking upon the grandest adventure of human interaction.
The story of your life together is still yours to write. All those present
have come to witness and celebrate your love and commitment this day - eager
to a part of the story not yet told." (Faces Kristine) Kristine Elizabeth
Wright, do you accept this man, Jacob Harris, to be your lovely wedded

Father: And you, Jacob Harris, do you accept this woman, Kristine Elizabeth

Jacob: I do, father.
Father: Now wear this ring and repeat after me. (Kristine repeats as she
wears the ring to Jacob) "I, Kristine Elizabeth Wright, accept you, Jacob
Harris as my companion and my husband. I promise to care for you, honor you,
and cherish you, for as long as we both shall love." (Jacob repeats) "I,

Father: If anyone objects in this wedding ceremony, speak now or forever hold
your peace.
(AUDIENCE LOOK AT EACH OTHER) (NO ONE OBJECTS)
Father: Well then, I now pronounce you man and wife.
(Jacob opens Kristine’s veil)
(Jacob and Kristine hug each other)
(Everybody Claps)
SCENE 7: On their way to the reception
(Jacob driving)
Kristine: You don’t know how happy I am to be marrying you, babe.
Jacob: I am also happy that you’re my wife now. Always remember that I love
you so much.
(AFTER 5 seconds)
(A car crashed into them)
(Car alarm sounds)
(AFTER 3 seconds)
Jacob: (Wakes up with difficulty) (Checks out Kristine) Kristine?! Are you
okay?! (Saw Kristine with plenty of blood) Kristine!! Baby! Wake up! (Calls
outside) PLEASE HELP US!
(Gets out of the car)
(Saw an ambulance)
(Approaches them)
Jacob: Please help us! I can’t let her die!
(They carry Kristine into the ambulance)
SCENE 8: On the hospital
(On the bench)
(Jacob crying)
(Glenn and Ethan arrives)
(Jacob stands up and meets Glenn)
Glenn: (Push Jacob) (Crying and Angry) WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?! WHAAAATT?!
Jacob: (Crying) I’m so sorry sir!
Ethan: (Crying) Dad! Where is sister?
Glenn: (Hugs Ethan)
(THEY ALL SIT DOWN IN THE BENCH)
(AFTER 5 Seconds)
(Dr. Alex comes out)
Mari: Who is the family of Ms. Wright? Or Mrs. Harris if she’s probably
married?
Glenn: We are. How is she?!
Jake: Doctor! Please bring good news. How’s my wife?
Mari: We did the best we can Mr. Harris and Mr. Wright. But she did not make
it. She had a big head injury on her and loss of too many blood.
Ethan: (Crying with soft words) What? Dad, sister is dead?
Glenn: That can’t be!! SHE CAN’T BE! SHE’S A STRONG WOMAN! SHE CAN SURVIVE!!
Jake: Doctor, please! Can we see her?
Mari: She’s inside.
SCENE 9: In the hospital room
[opens the door]
(Jake quickly go inside the room but Glenn push him away)
Glenn: Get away from her! Kristine please wake up! Daddy’s here. Kristine!
Kristine!
(Ethan on the side crying)
(Glenn faces Jake)
Glenn: Did you see what happened?!?! Did you see that! She’s dead with
innocence! She’s dead with your fault! (Glenn left the room)
Jacob: (Looks at Ethan) Ethan, I’m so sorry.
Ethan: No you’re not.
(Ethan left the room)
(Jacob faces the dead body of Kristine)
(Go near it)
(Jacob cries at Kristine)
Jake: Kristine, you promise me you won’t leave. I’m so sorry, sorry, sorry!
(Stephanie enters)
Stephanie: Oh My God…
Jake: Eunice… (Embraces Eunice)
Stephanie: Don’t worry Jake, everything’s going to be fine.
Jake: How can they forgive me, how can Kristine forgive me, how can I forgive
myself?!
Stephanie: Oh Jake, be strong. It’s not your fault.
SCENE 10: The Funeral
(Looking at Kristine’s dead body)
Jacob: Baby, I’m sorry you did not make it to the reception. You prepared so
much for that and it’s all nothing for this tragedy that was my fault. I will
always love you. You will always be my baby. No one can ever replace you.
(Glenn approaches Jacob)
Glenn: (Taps Jacob on the shoulders) she loves you so much. Bad thing you
weren’t able to be a family.
Jacob: I know that. But I am contented at the hour that we become man and
wife. God, I will miss her.
(Father approaches them)
Father: She is a good woman, you know. I’m sure she’s with God now.
(Jacob and Christian smiles)
(Jack’s family enters)
(Glenn greets them)
Glenn: Jack! I’m so glad to see you!
Jack: Me too Christian. I’ve heard what happened and as soon as I reached the
message, I and my family traveled here in Venice to give our deepest
sympathy. Condolence to you, Christian.
Glenn: Thank you Jack. It’s just that things happened so quickly. I never
thought this would happen to her. By the way, are they your lovely family?
Jack: Oh yes, these are my daughters, Hannah, my eldest and Althea, my
youngest.
Glenn: Nice to meet you girls. And who is this fine man?
Hannah: Oh, he’s probably my fiancé, sir. He’s Brian. I’m so sorry for your
loss, sir.
Glenn: Thank you Hannah. Okay, so I better leave you for now. I will still
arrange some things. You can look around if you wanted to. I’m really glad to
see all of you.
Jack: Christian, can I go with you?
Glenn: Sure Jack.
(Christian and Jack left)
Althea: Sister, I’ll rest myself first in the benches. I will leave you for a
moment.
Hannah: No problem Althea. I guess you must be tired.
Brian: Me too, dear. I’m really tired. Let’s sit down.
Hannah: Oh maybe later dear. I’ll just go around and check out some places.
Brian: Okay, I’ll accompany Althea. Let’s go Althea.
Althea: See you sister.
(HANNAH LOOKS IN THE DEAD BODY OF KRISTINE)
(BESIDE JACOB)
Hannah: Hi.
Jacob: Hi.
Hannah: Well, I’m really sorry for your loss. I heard she’s your wife.
Jacob: Thank you. I just can’t believe this is all happening.
Hannah: I’ve been there. I know it’s hard. But that’s life. Maybe God has
bigger plans for every one of us.
Jacob: You’ve been here? Did you lose your husband also?
Hannah: Oh, no. It’s probably my mom. We lost her 5 years ago.
Jacob: It must be hard.
Hannah: So much. By the way, I’m Hannah.
Jacob: And I’m Jacob. (SHAKES HANDS) Thanks for coming. What brought you
here?
Hannah: Oh because my father is a friend of Mr. Wright.
Jacob: Really? Well, I’m glad you’re here.
Hannah: (Smiles)
(BRIAN CALLS HANNAH)
Brian: Hannah!
(Goes near them)
Brian: Honey, I am looking for you.
Hannah: I thought you’re with Althea?
Brian: She went in the canteen. And I think you’re also hungry so I called
you to invite you with us.
Jacob: Who is he?
Hannah: Oh sorry, my bad. Honey, this is Jacob, Kristine’s husband. Jacob,
this is Brian, my fiancé.
(Jacob and Brian shake hands)
Jacob: Nice meeting you Brian.
Brian: Nice meeting you too.
Hannah: Jacob, I probably want to stay longer but I really skip lunch now. So
I’ll see you soon.
Jacob: Sure. (Smiles)
(Hannah and Brian leaves)
(Jacob still staring at Kristine)
(Ethan arrives)
Ethan: (Shouting) Where is she?!
(Everyone shocked)
Glenn: Ethan! What are you doing?!
Ethan: Father! I am looking for sister! She’s with me a while ago but she’s
missing now! I can’t find her!
(Ethan looks at Jacob and goes near him)
(Push some things)
Ethan: YOU! You killed her!
Jacob: Please Ethan, can we stop this?
Ethan: STOP THIS?! Well then where is she?! She’s probably in your arms when
she died!
Jacob: Please Ethan.
Ethan: Please stop this?! Did you do anything for her to live?! Or to survive
that freaking accident you made?! You did nothing! You want her to die! You
just let her die!
Jacob: I want her to die? Do you think I want this? Do you think this is easy
for me? I’ve been with her for 4 years! It’s not easy to forget all what we
had!
(Ethan about to hit Jacob when Eunice came)
Eunice: Ethan, please! Stop it now! This isn’t going to cause any good
results!
Ethan: I don’t care what will happen! I need justice for her!
Glenn: (SHOUTS) stop it both of you! Do you think Kristine will be happy
seeing us like this?! Blaming each other?! It was no one’s fault! So stop it!
Ethan: It is someone’s fault dad! And it is Jacob’s!
Glenn: Please Ethan! Do you think your sister will be happy about you blaming
somebody? No!
(Ethan left the room)
(Glenn approaches Jacob)
Jacob: Sir, I’m so sorry.
Glenn: I know you are. (Smiles at him)
SCENE 11: at a restaurant…
(Brian and Hannah eating)
Hannah: (Hold Brian’s hand) Honey, happy 4th anniversary! This place is so
romantic!
Brian: (Let go of the hand) I just want to make things formal. So I brought
you here.
Hannah: (Smiling) Why?
Brian: Hannah, do you love me?
Hannah: What kind of question is that, honey? You know I love you so much!
Brian: Oh this is going to be hard Hannah. We’ve been together for 4 years
right now. You’re my college crush and I’m so happy the day you were mine.
But things are just so out of reach. I am in love with someone else. And I
want to end up with you.
Hannah: What?! Why? What’s wrong?! Honey, please!
Brian: I’m so sorry Hannah. I can’t be like this anymore. I can’t pretend to
love you if I don’t do anymore. I’m sorry I’d fallen out of love for you.
Hannah: Brian, I can’t take this! I love you so much to let you go this easy!
Brian: I’m sorry but I can’t continue this. Let’s break up.
Hannah: No! We got a wedding 2 months from now! We can’t cancel all of that!
And I can’t live without you.
Brian: There will be no wedding. I’ve finish cancelling everything. It’s your
time to tell your friends that there will be no wedding anymore.
Hannah: Brian, please!
(Brian stands up ready to leave)
(Hannah stands up and holds him)
Hannah: Honey! I’m sure we can talk about this!
Brian: Hannah, I don’t love you! Stop it now! You’re humiliating me!
Hannah: Humiliating you?! Oh please! You’re absurd! Fine, we are through!
(Slaps Brian and walks out)
SCENE 12: At Leah’s house.
(Drinking Beers)
Hannah: Leah! Please get me more beers.
Leah: Hannah! You’re so drunk! Stop it!
Hannah: Well, I feel like it’s not enough.
Althea: Sister, please stop it. Leah, stop giving her!
Leah: Well, I can do nothing about it. Here, take all of this (Hand over the
beers) and make sure after that, you’ll remove all the hatred and pain inside
you.
(Hannah puts out the beer she’s holding)
(Leah sat down)
Leah: Hannah, move on.
Hannah: It’s been a while now. But I can still feel so much pain.
Leah: I know. I can see that.
Hannah: He’s like my life.
Leah: But you’re probably not he’s.
Hannah: Why dare you hurt me?
Leah: For you to realize he don’t deserve your love. That there is someone
there who won’t hurt you and love you no matter what. And you did push him
away already! There’s no turning back. You choose that.
(Hannah hugs Leah)
Hannah: You think so?
Leah: Yes, of course Hannah.
(Holds out)
Hannah: Thank you.
Althea: Yes sister, that’s true. And I don’t like him for you either!
Leah: Now enough of this beers. Let’s get some rest.
(Hannah smiles)
(All get up)
SCENE 13: HOUSE OF HANNAH
(Phone Rings)
Hannah: (Wakes up) Hello?
Jack: Hannah?
Hannah: Yes, dad? Do you need something?
Jack: I think you remember the Wright family.
Hannah: Of course I do. Why?
Jack: We’ll meet up with them this afternoon for lunch. Can you come?
Hannah: No problem dad. I’m not busy.
Jack: Okay, well then see you later.
Hannah: Yes. Bye. See you dad.
SCENE 14: Family meeting at the restaurant
(All eating)
(Hannah arrives)
Jack: Hannah!
Hannah: Sorry I’m late. My apologies everyone.
Jack: That is okay. Now go find yourself a seat.
Hannah: Thank you Dad. And Good Afternoon everyone 
(Hannah sits)
Glenn: Hannah, why didn’t you bring your fiancé with you? Is he busy?
Jacob: Yeah, why not? The Brian guy?
Hannah: Oh, long story. But we’re probably not dating anymore.
Jacob: Oh, I’m sorry.
Hannah: Oh don’t be. It’s okay.
Glenn: So are you dating anyone right now?
Hannah: (Smiles) No, not really. How about you, Jacob? Are you okay now?
Jacob: It’s been three months. I’m improving somehow.
Hannah: That’s so good to hear. Mr. Wright, I think you also. Kristine is in
heaven now. I believe in that.
Glenn: We know. But we are probably worried about Ethan. It’s been 3 months
but still, he can’t move on about her sister’s death.
Hannah: That’s bad news. Is that why he isn’t here?
Glenn: Yes, Hannah.
Hannah: I’ll pray for him sir.
Glenn: Thank you.
SCENE 15: AT THE PARKING LOT
(Jacob and Eunice saw Hannah)
Jacob: Hannah! Join with us.
Hannah: Oh, no it’s okay. I can get any taxi anytime.
Eunice: Please, I’m on a hurry. Just get on the car.
Hannah: Well, okay 
SCENE 16: ON THE CAR:
Jacob: Hannah, what do you do for a living?
Hannah: I took our family business.
Jacob: Oh, the business Uncle Jack is talking about.
Hannah: Yes, it’s that. How about you?
Jacob: I work in the magazine company of Uncle Christian.
Hannah: Nice. Is that the reason you met Kristine?
Jacob: Not really, that’s another story.
Hannah: I see. How about you Eunice? What do you do for a living?
(Eunice not speaking)
Jacob: Uhmm, Eunice is a writer also. But we’re not in the same company.
Hannah: That’s great. Writing is great.
Hannah: Hey Jake, my apartment is in there so could you stop me by there?
Jacob: No problem. (Stop the car)
Hannah: (Gets off the car) thank you so much.
Jacob: You’re really welcome. Take care. (Smiles)
Eunice: (Angry) Do you like her?!
Jacob: (Laughing) No! What are you thinking about?
Eunice: You look at her differently.
Jacob: Differently? What’s different about that? I look at everyone the same
way.
Eunice: (Slow words) Well, you don’t look at me like that.
Jacob: (Stops the car) (Faces Eunice) what do you mean, Eunice?
Eunice: (Quiet)
Jacob: Fine, I’ll make it up to you. Let us meet tonight at Giardinetti
Reali. 9 pm. I’ll stop by at your house.
Eunice: (Smiles) I want to hear that from you. Thank you.
Jacob: So, I think your father is already waiting for you inside.
Eunice: Oh yes. Thank you for the ride. See you tonight. Call me. (Gets off
the car)
SCENE 17: Hannah or Jacob’s house
(Jacob opens the door)
(Puts all his things down)
(Sits in the sofa)
(Gets his cell phone)
Jacob: Hello?
(Hannah on the other line)
Hannah: Hello? Who’s this?
Jacob: (Stands up) Uhmm, This is Jacob.
Hannah: Wow. How’d you know my number?
Jacob: I asked Uncle Christian about you.
Hannah: About me?
Jacob: I mean your number.
Hannah: Oh, I see. It’s so good to hear your voice. Are you okay?
Jacob: Yes, I’m okay. How are you?
Hannah: I’m fine. Doing chores here and I’m kinda bored a little.
Jacob: Let us solve that. I think you’re free?
Hannah: Absolutely. It’s Saturday. No work.
Jacob: Can we meet up tonight?
Hannah: Uhmm, sure. I got no work. Why?
Jacob: I just want to hang out with you. Is that okay?
Hannah: (Smiles) Of course. I’ll see you at 10 at Taverna La Fenice. Bye.
Jacob: Bye.
SCENE 18: OUTSIDE TAVERNA LA FENICE
(Jacob waiting)
(Hannah arrives)
Hannah: Hey, I’m so sorry I’m late.
Jacob: You are always late. (Laughs)
Hannah: I know. So let’s go.
SCENE 19: TAVERNA LA FENICE
Hannah: Tell me about you and Kristine
Jacob: We love each other so much. We’ve met in St. Mark’s Garden when I was
still working there. We’ve been together for 4 years.
Hannah: That’s terrible. How did she die? Nobody told me what happened.
Jacob: It was our wedding day. We were on our way to the reception, I was
driving and suddenly, a car hit us. You know, I just wish I’m the one who
died. Rather than her. I hate hearing the insults and my conscience bugging
me all day and night.
Hannah: Don’t say that. Life is wonderful. Maybe it was her time. But not
yours.
Jacob: I just miss her so much now. Her touch, her voice, her face, and her
love.
Hannah: Are you dating anyone?
Jacob: No.
Hannah: I guess she can’t be replaced?
Jacob: I don’t really know.
Hannah: How about Eunice? I think she likes you a lot.
Jacob: Oh no. Eunice is my best friend since childhood. There is no
possibility that we can like each other. I treat her as my sister.
Hannah: Well, I hope she feels the same way.
Jacob: Well, how about you and Brian?
Hannah: Do you remember that day when we visit your wife’s funeral?
Jacob: Yes. And?
Hannah: after that night, it was our 4th anniversary and he broke up with me.
Jacob: Exactly on that date?! That is terrible!
Hannah: Yes it is! Maybe a bit of liquors wasn’t so bad for me, there; I did
move on and realize he weren’t the one.
Jacob: Did you plan on marrying?
Hannah: Yes, our wedding should’ve been last month, and he just throw away
everything.
Jacob: What’s his reason?
Hannah: That he has found someone else.
Jacob: Do you know who?
Hannah: I didn’t try to know. I might kill somebody. Joke! (Laughs)
(AFTER DINNER)
SCENE 20: At Jacob’s house
(Hannah and Jacob on the car)
(Sees Eunice)
(All get out of the car)
Jacob: Oh my God! Eunice, I totally forgot. I’m really sorry! Please forgive
me.
Eunice: (Crying) you are sorry? You totally forgot our dinner because you’re
with her?
Jacob: Eunice, I’m so sorry.
Eunice: You just met her recently. And you know me for decades! Can you see
the difference?!
Jacob: It can’t be measure like that.
Eunice: It can!!! Don’t you see I love you?! I didn’t take advantage when you
have problems with Kristine! But when she died, I’m hoping I can have a
chance with you! Am I wrong? And now, Hannah?!
Jacob: (Shocked) Eunice, I think of you as my sister. How could you love me
romantically?
Eunice: Your sister? I also can’t understand.
(GO NEAR TO HANNAH)
Eunice: He can’t be yours because I don’t want to.
Hannah: Please, we don’t have any romantic relationship. It’s not what you
think.
Eunice: And you can never have! (Pushes Hannah)
(Eunice walks out)
(Jacob helps Hannah to stand up)
Jacob: Are you okay?
Hannah: Jake, I understand her. Maybe we need distance for a while now.
Jacob: What do you mean?!
Hannah: She’s not happy if we’re together.
Jacob: I like you Hannah.
Hannah: (Shocked) I would respond with that positively if everyone is happy.
