Project Manager. Design and build contract for the Unity Bridge. Tender
assistance, site investigations, preliminary and detailed design of a 720m long
bridge across the Ruvuma River and 10km of access roads. Duties: Overall
responsible for execution of the job which involves a road design team in
Tanzania and a bridge design team in Denmark. Was furthermore team leader
for the road design team. Tanzania. Client: China Geo Engineering
Corporation. 2005-2007.
Project Manager. Design and build contract for the Kyamyorwa-Busirayombo
Road. Tender assistance, site investigations, preliminary and detailed design of
a 120km rural road section south of Bukoba. Duties: Overall responsible for
execution of the job. Tanzania. Client: China Geo Engineering Corporation.
2005-07
Project Manager. Highway Ris-Ølholm. Design and supervision of 14 km
highway in rural area of Denmark including all drainage facilities and 14
bridges. The project is the first major design and build contract tendered by the
Danish Road Directorate. Denmark. Client: Vejcon I/S a consortium of
contractors. 2002-2004
Project Manager. Søften-Skødstrup Motorway. Project: Tender design for
approximately 11 km motorway including 30 bridges and drainage facilities for
Design & Build consortium. Denmark. Client: Vejcon. 2004

Chief Engineer. Suspension Bridges over Skjern River. Design of two
suspension bridges across the River Skjern in Denmark. Client: Danish Forest
and Nature Agency. 2003.
Project Manager. Herning Footbridge. Design and supervision of a cable
stayed footbridge with 80 m span. Denmark. Client: Danish Road Directorate.
1997-1999.
Project Manager. Aarhus-Grenå Rail Line Upgrade. Structural evaluation,
design and supervision of strengthening measures of railway bridges in poor
condition on the Aarhus-Grenaa Line. More than 15 bridges were evaluated and
approximately 5 strengthened in order to comply with international standards
for bearing capacity of rail bridges. Denmark. Client: Danish Railway

Structural Engineer. Addis Ababa - Woldiya Road Rehabilitation Project. The
project involved the rehabilitation of the Addis Ababa - Woldiya road. As part
of the project a number of concrete bridges across streams and rivers were
designed. Ethiopia. Client: Danida. 1998.
Project Manager. Dar es Salaam (Waso Hill) - Bagamoyo Road Project.
Design of two composite bridges for the Dar es Salaam (Waso Hill) Bagamoyo Road Project. Tanzania. Client: EU. 1996.
Project Engineer. Standard drainage facilities. Design of COWIs standard
drainage facilities (multiple box and pipe culverts etc.) used on a number of
projects including:
