History of foundation: The Osage Education Department is a tribal and
federal funded program. The Osage Nation Education Department’s
programs are titled the Classroom Training Program, the Summer Youth
Program, the Scholarship Program, and Youth Education Services and also
include Supportive Services, Career Services, Work Experience, Tutoring,
Internship Program, Osage Curriculum, and Special Projects for Youth. The
federal portion of the program is funded by the Indian Employment, Training,
and Related Services Demonstration Act, Public Law 102-477, referred to as
"477".
