This show is affiliated with The National Walking Horse Association and will use their rules. Rulebooks are available online at www.NWHA.com

General Rules

 Entries must be inspected by DQP before each class. Saddles must be removed for inspection.

 All 1 st Place winners must report to DQP Station immediately following the class.

 Only the exhibitor, horse and one assistant will be permitted in the inspection area prior to a class.

 If a class does not specify Amateur, it is Open.

AOT denotes Amateur Owned and Trained, horse not to have any professional training in the 90 days prior to the show.

Novice Horse – Horse not to have won ANY blue ribbons in 2011 at an NWHA or SHOW show prior to this show under present ownership.

Open Easy Gaited Classes are open to all easy gaited flat shod horses. Neat attire consisting of long sleeved, collared shirt, pants and boots (and western hat, if in western tack) is permitted. With Western

Tack, two hands may be used. A horse shown in Open Easy Gait may cross enter into any other show division or class, except some of the championships. Shoeing in OEG classes may be up to a Plantation

Pleasure shoe (1 ½” x ½”). (**see championship limitations below)

Country Pleasure Classes are open to all easy gaited flat shod horses shown by youth or amateur riders only. Neat attire consisting of long sleeved, collared shirt, pants and boots (and western hat, if in western tack) is permitted. With Western Tack, two hands may be used. A horse shown in CP may not cross enter into Trail Pleasure,

Lite Shod or Plantation Pleasure classes. CP horses may show in Open

Easy Gait, TWH Youth, Racking Horse, Spotted Saddle Horse, Model,

Versatility, Showmanship and Equitation classes. Shoeing in CP may be up to a Trail Pleasure shoe (3/4” x 3/8”). (**see championship limitations below)

 ** Championships for Open Easy Gait and Country Pleasure

Horses - Horses shown in OEG or CP classes may show only in the

Country Pleasure, Open Easy Gait, Racking Horse, Spotted Saddle Horse or Youth Championships (Class#94, 95, 97, 100, 101).

 If a class does not specify Western or OT (optional tack), English Tack is required. If the class is OT (optional tack), exhibitors may use either

English or Western tack but not a combination of the two.

 No unattended cross tying in the barns.

 No transmitting communication devices are allowed.

 NWHA Show Cards are required for anyone showing in Amateur classes, except Country Pleasure and OEG Pleasure classes.

These cards are available in the show office for $15 per show or $40 per

NWHA show year (October thru September) for non-NWHA members.

NWHA Show Cards are free with NWHA Memberships. Must be a NWHA member to receive NWHA points.

 Negative Coggins test is required for all horses over the age of 6 months by the State of Ohio.

 This show will be conducted under TWHBEA Versatility rules.

 The use of safety helmets is encouraged and is required for all youth ages 11 and under.

Class entries or scratches must be made at least 5 classes prior to the class. Championship Entries must be made prior to the close of the Pre Championship Break on Saturday. No entries will be accepted or refunds given after the start of class #90.

Entry Fees and Payback

All horses subject to a $10 per day Office/Affiliation Fee

JDRF Classes, MOWHA Member, OPF Alumni and Fancy

Hat Classes ($10 Donation per entry – ribbons only)

Equitation, Showmanship, Open Leadline and Stick Horse

(Entry Fee $5 - Trophy and Ribbons Only)

All Other Classes (including Championships)

Entry Fee $25 (Payback $50, $25, $15, R, R, R, R)*

*Horse must show in at least one preliminary class to enter any championship Class.

Stall Fees- $45/one day or $70/show - includes 1 bale of

shavings (shavings available for purchase at the show).

Stalls available after 12noon Thursday

Earlier arrival or late departure by prior arrangement only and will be subject to additional $25/day fee

PLEASE VACATE STALLS BY 10AM SUNDAY MORNING

Grounds Fee- $20/day or $30/show for horses not using a stall.

Directions to Champions Center

Champions Center is located behind the Clark County Fairgrounds off Laybourne Rd, accessed from the entrance to I-70 Westbound exit 59

Coming from the east (Columbus): Exit I-70 at exit #59 (SR 41) and cross SR 41 as if you were getting back on to I-70 West.

Made an immediate right turn on Laybourne Road (you will see an Army Reserve Unit there). Proceed until you can make a right turn into the back gate of the fairgrounds.

Coming from the west (Dayton): Exit I-70 at exit #59 (SR 41), turn left on to SR 41. At the next light, turn left as if you were getting back on to I-70 West. Make an immediate right turn on

Laybourne Road (you will see an Army Reserve Unit there).

Proceed until you can make a right turn into the back gate of the fairgrounds.
