DESPERATE CRIMINAL KUKKI @ SUNNY DEV WANTED IN SENSATIONAL
MURDER CASE OF A GANGSTER IN HARYANA ARRESTED AND SEMI
AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH 5 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED
INTRODUCTION :
Staff of Outer District nabbed a desperate criminal Kukki @ Sunny Dev (23
year) s/o Shri Chander Singh r/o Village & P.O. Rithal, PS Rohtak Sadar, District
Rohtak, Haryana wanted in a sensational day light murder case of one gangster
Ram Niwas of Vijay Boda Gang in the heart of the city Jind, Haryana on 13.5.2010.
INCIDENT, INVESTIGATION, TEAM AND ARREST :
On 13.5.2010, a PCR call was received at Police Station Jind City by
Inspector Ramphal (SHO City Jind) that an incident of firing had taken place near
Chakki More, Gohana Road, Jind Urban. On receipt of this information, he
immediately reached the spot where he came to know that one desperate
criminal Ram Niwas of Vijay Bodha Gang was shot dead by three
assailants. He had sustained 6 bullet injuries over his body. He was taken to
Civil Hospital, Jind where he was declared brought dead. In this regard, a case
vide FIR No. 325 dated 13.5.2010 u/s 302/34 IPC & 25/54/59 Arms Act was
registered at Police Station Jind City. Since the day of incident, accused were
evading their arrest.
On 24.6.2010, an information was received by the staff of Special
Staff, Outer District that the accused persons involved in the murder of
Ram Niwas would assemble in Sector 5, Rohini near Rithala Metro Station
to design a plan to kill one businessman in Sonepat, Haryana. Immediately,
a team comprising of SI Jasmohinder Chaudhari, HC Surender Dahiya, HC Rohtash
Singh, HC Yogesh Kumar, HC Suresh Kumar, Ct Pawan Kumar, Ct Surender Rana,
Ct Sandeep and Ct Manish Kumar under the supervision of Shri Ved Parkash,
ACP/Operations was constituted to conduct raid and to apprehend the criminals.
The team laid traps at and around Rithala Metro Station. At about 06.30 PM,
one Ascent Car (White Coloured) with dark glasses came to Rithala Metro Station
from Sector 24 side. The same was identified to be the car of Shamsher Nagoora
(a desperate criminal and sharp shooter of Vijay Bodha Gang). The car stopped
near Red light and two persons came out of it and were looking to be
waiting for someone. All of a sudden, they tried to run away from there
but the police party was quick enough to apprehend Kukki @ Sunny Dev
from the spot.
One Semi Automatic Pistol was recovered from the
possession of accused. On checking, five live cartridges of 7.65 bore were also
recovered from the magazine of the Pistol. Accordingly, a case was registered vide
FIR No. u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act at PS Vijay Vihar. On interrogation, he disclosed
that he along with his associates namely Shamsher Nagoora and Devender @ Kala
of Village Rithal, Rohtak had committed murder of Ram Niwas of Village Khatkar,
Jind on 13.5.2010.
Kukki @ Sunny Dev further disclosed that Shamsher Nagoora was known to
be the right hand of Vijay Bodha since long but in the past few days Ram Niwas
managed to get closer to Vijay Bodhaw which was not acceptable to
Shamsher. Even he was having a grudge with Ram Niwas Khatkar over
distribution of an extorted amount.
Ram Niwas denied giving share of
Shamsher Nagoora to him. This enhanced his anger and the situation turned so
worse that in the early days of Feb 2010, both had challenged to kill each other in
a marriage function at Hissar, Haryana. Since that day both were looking for an
opportunity to kill each other and both had formed their own teams for this
purpose.
On the intervening night of 12/13-5-2010, Shamsher reached at Village
Rithal, Rohtak and planned with Kuki @ Sunny Dev and Devender @ Kala to attack
on Ram Niwas in the court premises as he was aware that Ram Niwas would come
to attend the court at Jind Courts on 13.5.2010. On 13th may all three, as per their
plan, went to Village Katkar, Jind to locate Ram Niwas. At about 8.45 AM, they
saw Ram Niwas coming towards Jind City in a white Santro Car. All three
of them intercepted his Santro Car with their Ascent Car near Chakki More,
Gohana Road, Jind and fired 6 rounds at Ram Niwas. He was taken to the
hospital where he was declared brought dead.
