 Is it justified to introduce an amendment to Reg. 100.02
and require a test similar to ISO 16750-4 for type
approval of REESS?
 E.g., charge the battery, raise the temperature, immerse
the battery in cold salt water, observe and conclude a
standard cycle
 Criteria: rupture, fire, explosion, loss of electrolyte or
isolation
