Greetings and Welcome to Lindsey Wilson College – Division of Nursing.
If you are receiving this material, you have indicated that you are
interested in pursuing your Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Please review this material thoroughly as it contains information to
assist you to register for your classes.
This booklet contains basic schedules for the incoming freshmen. You
may elect to register for these courses noted on one of the schedules
or you may arrange your own schedule based on a few time related
changes. (Please discuss these changes with your Nursing Faculty
Advisor).
Changes from the recommended sample plan below should also be
discussed with your Nursing Faculty advisor. This schedule contains
courses required to meet general education requirements and
prerequisites for the nursing major. Once you have reviewed the
schedules or you have determined a basic schedule that contains all the
elements in the sample schedule below, contact the nursing division to

All students seeking to earn a baccalaureate degree from Lindsey Wilson College have
to:
 Complete general education requirements intended to enhance
communication, critical thinking skills and breadth of knowledge.
 Complete requirements in a major course of study, to gain depth of
knowledge.
 Earn a minimum of 128 credit hours.
In a BSN program, students are required to complete study in depth in nursing, which is
a challenging and rewarding field. The required general education courses and the
