THIS SHOW IS A QUALIFIER FOR THE R.I.H.S.
Owners & riders must be BSPS members before the date of the show to compete in classes with qualification
for the Blue Riband, RIHS (Inc Pretty Polly& Heritage classes) and animals must be registered with the
BSPS except for Anglo / Part bred Arabs who must be registered with the AHS. Membership fo rms must be
received in the office no later than the last working day (Mon do Fri) prior to the date of the qualifying show.
Only one pony in each of the three Open W.H.P, classes Nursery Stakes ,five open SHP classes, 3 open SP
classes , four Intermediate classes ,five open Heritage classes, Heritage FR & LR, 2 Anglo/Partbred Arab
and 3 Pretty Polly classes will qualify.. The highest placed (not already qualified) from the first three ponies
placed in each class will qualify.
THIS SHOW IS A QUALIFIER FOR THE 2014 B.S.P.S
CHAMPIONSHIPS SHOW to be held at the Arena U. K.. The 1st and 2nd
prizewinners only in the following Classes: 2 to 5, 8 to 10 , 22 to26, & 32 to 35
the 1st 2nd & 3rd prizewinners in classes 1 , 6 , 12 to 18 27,28 & 31 will qualify
for the B.S.P.S. Championship Show provided the animal is registered in
accordance with rule 23 and ridden by a B.S.P.S. Member .
THE BSPS. “ CLASSIC SECURITY UK LTD “ CHALLENGE
, Open Show Ponies, Open Nursery Stakes Open W.H.P.s Open S.H.Ps & Intermediate classes Heritage
Open Ridden ,Open WHP The highest placed pony that has not qualified for the 2014 Horse of the Year in
the appropriate class will quality. If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the BSPS Challenge,
the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. If after qualifying a pony qualifies for the H.O.Y.S. it
will forfeit its qualification for the BSPS Challenge .
Cradle Stakes & LR of Hunter Type.The highest placed pony not qualified for the BSPS Challenge will
qualify.
THE BSPS BLUE RIBAND
Classes 1-4, 22 -28 &, 31- 35 are qualifiers for the BSPS Blue Riband. Owners and riders must be
B.S.P.S.members and the pony registered with the BSPS to compete in classes with Blue Riband Qualification.

The best rider in each of the following classes will be awarded a Best Rider Card and qualify for the final at
the Summer Championship Show:-Open SP classes, Open SHP classes, all open WHP classes and all Int

This show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (BSPS), and all persons entering,
competing, showing, or otherwise taking part whether or not members of the BSPS, are subject to
the Constitution and Rules of the BSPS including the disciplinary procedures, and shall be deemed
to have consented to the jurisdiction of the BSPS.
2. All cups and Trophies are Perpetual Challenge Trophies and are awarded on condition that they
are returned safely and undamaged to the Secretary by 1st March 2014
Any person wishing to lodge a protest having reference to any person or exhibit, shall do so in
writing to the Secretary within 30 minutes of the termination of the Class to which the protest
relates, and at the same time shall deposit the sum of £25.00. If on investigation by the Show
Committee the protest is not sustained, the deposit shall be forfeited to the funds of the Show.
The Show or any of its officers, servants or assistants shall not be held responsible or accountable
for any loss, injury, or damage that may happens from any animal or property or vehicle brought
on to the Show ground, or whilst entering or leaving the same, or otherwise in connection with, or
arising out of or attributable to the Show or to the Conditions and Rules prescribed by the
Committee thereto.
Each exhibitor shall be solely responsible for any consequential loss, injury, or damage done to or
occasioned by, or arising from any animal, including the spread of infection, or contagious disease
or article exhibited or introduced to the showground by him or her, and shall indemnify the Show
and its officials against all actions, proceedings, liabilities, claims, damages and expenses in
relation to or arising out of his or her entry or entries to the Show.
The making of an entry or entries in the Show shall be deemed to be acceptance by the exhibitor
of these conditions.
Only tack allowed in the show ring to be worn while riding.
The exercise Area is only to be used by horses entered in the Show
Directions Onley Grounds is off the A45 Dunchurch to Daventry Road, about 1
mile south of where the A45 goes below the M45. From the M45 going East
only, leave on the first slip road about 2 miles from the start of the motorway. At
the island turn right towards Daventry and Onley is signposted on the left in about
1 mile
