1. ISSO:
Provides support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program.
Provides support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems
security policies, standards, and methodologies. Maintains operational security posture for an
information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and
procedures are established and followed. Assists with the management of security aspects of the
information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system. Evaluate security
solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information. Performs
vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation. Provides
configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
Manages changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes. Prepares and
reviews documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports,
Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices
(SRTMs). Supports security authorization activities in compliance with NSA/CSS Information System
Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP) and DoD Information Assurance Certification and
Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
REQUIRED TASKS:















Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing, and enforcing information systems
security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for
processing classified information.
Assist with the CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation.
Maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs , network
switches, etc. to include system upgrades.
Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing
classified information.
Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies,
standards, and methodologies.
Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program.
Provides support to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for maintaining the
appropriate operational IA posture for a system, program, or enclave.
Develop and maintains documentation for C&A in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies.
Develop and updates the system security plan and other IA documentation.
Provide CM for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware.
Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and perform dayto-day security operations of the system.
Develop system security policy and ensures compliance.
Administer the user identification and authentication mechanism of the Information System
(IS).
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Twelve years of related experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and
complexity to include experience in at least one of the following areas: knowledge of current security
tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption
techniques/tools. A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field such as Computer Science or
Information Assurance may be substituted for four years of experience.
8570 Certification:
Must be IAT Level II or higher (Security+, etc)
2. Wireless/Network Engineer
Requirements:
Senior Network Engineer with WLAN/WiFi Expertise
Seeking a senior Network Engineer who has experience with COTS Wireless LAN and Wireless WAN
technologies. Duties include network planning and design, architecture, development, test &
evaluation and Tier-3 troubleshooting. Emphasis is on high-level business requirement analysis,
evaluation of COTS wireless solutions, system architecture development, network and wireless
product testing, technical writing, strategic planning and providing expert technical advice to our
Government customers.
Duties:
 Research, evaluate and develop solutions, which satisfy cutting edge customer requirements for
new network and wireless features, functions, hardware, software and monitoring tools.
 Develop and write plans for testing new network and wireless features, functions, hardware and
software in a lab environment. Define detailed requirements and methods to test and each
requirement.
 Prepare lab environment for testing new network and wireless features, functions, hardware and
software by installing and configuring switches, routers, wireless access pointes, antennas,
controllers, appliances, servers, test equipment and cabling.
 Execute tests of new network and wireless features, functions, hardware and software according
to the written test plan and determine if solution meets defined requirements.
 Write and publish technical specifications and test reports.
 Serve as organization’s technical POC for wireless LAN and wireless WAN technologies.
 Write or revise instructions for network operations team and field installers to rollout new network
and wireless features, functions, hardware and software into the production network.
 Perform Tier-3 troubleshooting of difficult network and wireless issues that get escalated up
through Tier-1 and Tier-2 support organizations.
 Occasionally travel to install new wireless equipment and software at locations selected to be
pilot test sites.
Basic Qualifications:
 TS/SCI with FS Polygraph
Educational and Experience Qualifications:
 High School/GED and 12 years experience; or
 Associates and 10 years of experience; or
 Bachelors Degree and 8 years of experience; or
 Masters Degree and 6 years of experience.
Technical Qualifications:
 Cisco CCNA certification







DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security + or equal)
Proficiency with installing, configuring, troubleshooting and upgrading network equipment, and
software, WAN circuits, and all types of network patch cables.
Hands-on experience with installing, configuring and troubleshooting COTS wireless equipment
from Aruba, Cisco and other manufacturers.
Ability to identify, isolate and resolve problems with AP communication, RF interference, and
channel issues.
Hands-on experience with advanced network technologies, including; IPSEC, OSPF, BGP, LDP,
BFD, GRE Tunnels, MACSEC, MPLS, QoS, VPLS, 802.1x, IPv6, Multicast and VoIP.
Strong technical writing skills.
Excellent verbal communications skills.
Preferred Technical Qualifications:
 Cisco CCNP certification
 Wireless specialization certification
 DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (CISSP or equal)
 Hands-on experience with high-performance Cisco routers and switches, such as ASR, ISR,
CRS, 7600, 3750E and NEXUS.
 Hands-on experience with Brocade routers and switches, such as MLX, SX and FCX.
 Hands-on experience with advanced network test equipment, such as Spirent Test Center or
EXFO IP/Ethernet services tester.
8570 Certification
 DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (Security+ or equivalent)
3. Communications/Network Engineer
Requirements:
Looking for a Network Engineer to configure, test and install LAN, CAN, and WAN equipment/world-wide
(Non hostile areas only). Selectee will be responsible for creating network diagrams and documentation,
perform site surveys, create parts list, configure and test equipment, coordinate outages and
install/activate circuits and network equipment.
Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience or nine (9) years experience without a
degree. A TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph is required for this position.
Experience with:
 Cisco network equipment
 Foundry network equipment
 KG175 encryptors.
 Copper (Cat 5E and 6) cable and be able to terminate them.
 MM and SM fiber optics, and the various types of connectors.
 Should be proficient with creating documents using MS Visio
 Applicant must have Security + certification (or equivalent) to satisfy DoD8570 requirements.
 CCNA certification is preferred but not required.
Applicant must be available to travel to non-hostile CONUS and OCONUS sites up to 10% of the time.
8570 Certification:
 IAT Level II or higher (Security+, CCNA-Security, etc)
4. Implementation/Sustainment Engineer
Requirements:
Looking for an Implementation/Sustainment engineer. The candidate must be able to work as a member
of a team in a dynamic environment, supporting day-to-day operations, as well as working on large-scale
deployments worldwide.
Position requires familiarity with McAfee Firewall Enterprise Firewalls, Blue Coat SG web proxies, F5 LTM
load balancers, Cisco ACS, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Cisco switches.
Candidate may be required to travel to CONUS and/or OCONUS regions based on customer
requirements.
Qualifications:
 Experience leading large scale system deployments
 10 years Network Security experience
 3 years McAfee Firewall Enterprise firewall and control center experience
 3 years NISCAP (DCID 6/3 and ICD 503) experience
 CISSP certification preferred
 Bachelor's Degree
8570 Certification:
 CISSP preferred
