Appendix C Survey Results 2013 Number of Responses: 243 Dear Patient, As a result of last years patient consultation process we have made the following changes at the surgery: 1. Online appointment booking is now available and working very well. 2. Chip & Pin machine is up and running. 3. Digital screen in the waiting room providing information and distraction from the reception desk. 4. Regular reception meetings to discuss issues of confidentiality and regular reminders to reception staff to keep patients informed of waiting times and we hope that patients have noticed an improvement. 5. Email consults were investigated but there is no secure or reliable way of keeping an audit trail with the current software we use and so we have decided not to persue this for the time being. This may change in the future. This is our second practice survey. The following ideas come from comments and suggestions made by patients over the last few years.
