Ideas for Teacher Gifts Teacher gifts are not necessary but room parents are welcome to organize a class gift for the holidays or end of the year. Some parents find it helpful to contribute towards a class gift rather than purchase individual gifts. Please consider special educators and paraeducators when preparing gifts. When purchasing a Holiday, or an End-of-the Gift for the special educator, team paraeducator, and special ed. Paraeducators, please communicate with other room parents in your team to determine if you would like to pull money together and buy a grade gift or each class purchase a gift separately. When presenting a class gift to the teacher, please be sure that it is given by the whole class. (Ex: Mrs. Smith's class). Do NOT distinguish those who paid and exclude those who did not.
