Curriculum Committee Items •Chair Guzman reported there were common course numbering meetings last week. Margaret Taylor reported on some of the changes and actions taken at that meeting. •Chair Guzman reported there were other issues regarding remedial Math and remedial English. Billy Duke says he will be going to a meeting in January regarding remedial classes. •Another Item is that NSHE still wants the B on the common course numbering forms. •Tom Lisa has been trying to create a course but the Course Descriptions are different at each institution. The Course descriptions have to be 80% the same. •At the BOR December Agenda, there were many Degrees deactivated. Some of the Degrees were presented as part of a “strategic plan”. The two BAS’s Degrees were approved. •Margaret Taylor said she is almost finished with the forms, they will try them out in the Spring. Chair Guzman also reported they will be working with electronic signatures. Meeting was adjourned at 11:20 am
