SVF Community Service Program Process

When presenting yourself at an organization to offer your volunteer services, ask
to speak with the Director of Volunteers; introduce yourself and SVF School
Explain the reason for your call, using a few words about our SVF Community
Service Program
Once you’ve been accepted and have agreed to certain days/hours and
responsibilities:
o Ask the person who will be your Supervisor (& an alternate, if needed) to
read, complete and sign your SVF Community Service documents
o The following day, completed documents are to be returned to the SVF
Community Service Office.

Students may choose to do service at their former elementary school if they so
wish. This provides excellent assistance to both the principal and the students
you work with; it’s also an effective means of publicity for St. Vincent Ferrer HS.
