This is an official ADGA Show & their rules shall govern.
The order of this show IS subject to change based on entries received.
NOTICE: SR. & JR. DOE SHOWS ARE SANCTIONED SEPARATELY.
RULES:
1.
Breeds sanctioned are Alpine, LaMancha, Nigerian Dwarf, Nubian, Oberhasli, Recorded Grade, Saanen and
Toggenburg.

SHOW ORDER: Subject to change based on final entry numbers in order to keep the show moving.

Group 1 breeds start at 8 am. Each breed stays in their assigned ring and the judges will rotate. After each judge has
judged each breed in group 1, group 2 will begin. The judges will again rotate through the group 2 breeds and after each
judge has judged all the breeds of group 2, group 3 will begin.

ENTRY FEES: If postmarked by June 2, 2014 will be $4.00 per animal per ring if entered in less than 3 rings or
new for this year, if a goat is entered in all 3 rings before the early entry deadline the cost is only $10. Animals
entered after that will be charged $5.00 per animal per ring. A 10% discount will be given for 11 or more
animals entered by same exhibitor per ring if entered by June 2, 2014 only.
ALL FEES must be paid PRIOR to the start of the show. Fees are non-refundable. NO Substitutions may be
made after 8 am on June 14, 2014. STALL FEES will be $5.00 per pen. This fee must be included in your
entry fees and is not subject to discounts. If you determine that you need extra stalls once you arrive they may
be purchased at the show. Stalls are 7’ x 5” or 7” x 4”. They are wood pens. Wood shavings must be used
for bedding. Bags of shavings are available for purchase @ $5 from the fair thru the show but prior ordering of
them is required.

The original registration certificate is required for all animals 6 months and over. Stamped duplicates for
animals under 6 months will be accepted. The date for computing age will be the show date. The registration
certificate or stamped duplicate must be presented at check-in. No copies of the certificate or unstamped
application, or phone calls will be accepted in lieu of the original certificate.
HEALTH PAPERS are not required for South Dakota animals but ARE required for out of state animals;
however, every animal will be inspected upon arrival and is subject to rejection for unhealthy conditions at the
discretion of the show committee. Reasons for rejection include but are not limited to abscesses, ringworm,
lice, sore mouth, or thick runny noses. The ruling of the inspection committee is final. To find out what SD

Animals may arrive for check in between 6pm and 11pm on Friday, June 13 and again starting at 6am on
Saturday June 14. Animals must be in place by 7:30am on Saturday, June 14 and will be released at the
conclusion of both rings or early release by permission of the show chairperson.
There will be no pre-show milk out, however, over uddering is discouraged and may be a cause for
disqualification at the discretion of the judge.
Please display good sportsmanship. All exhibitors are requested but not required to wear white shirts and white
or black pants in the show ring. Poor sportsmanship could result in being banned from future shows.
All animals are entered at the owner’s or designated exhibitor’s risk. The show committee and fairgrounds will
not be responsible for loss, damage, theft or accident to any person, animal or property.
Animals are to be properly collared, chained and under control at all times.
Raffles will be held and any donations will also be happily accepted and greatly appreciated.
All exhibitors must furnish their own feed, wood shavings, and any needed equipment.
Camping is available on the fairgrounds but space must be purchased thru the fair’s office. A dump station is
available on the fairgrounds.
No dogs will be allowed inside the show barn or tied around it.
