Mary Jane Diggins has been an Internal Revenue Service employee for 27 years. She is a Supervisory Collection Representative (Compliance/ACS Team Manager) in the Appletree ACS call site in Cheektowaga, New York. The employees she supervises resolve balance due and return delinquency cases in a telephone environment. Mary Jane is also a member of the IRS Leadership Instructor Cadre. She teaches cross-functional IRS courses such as the Front Line Manager Course (FLMC) and Fundamental Management Skills (FMS) to newly selected IRS front-line managers nationwide. She is nationally certified as a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) instructor. A member of FEW since 2006, Mary Jane attended the National Training Program that year in Atlanta and has been a proponent of the FEW agenda since then. She was the first secretary of the newly formed Western New York FEW Chapter from 2010 – 2012. Now, as president, she and the other FEW members in the chapter are trying to re-energize and build the group into an active local organization. Mary Jane has a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education – English from Canisius College, Buffalo and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Buffalo State College.
