Still pretty raw and needs to body up. BP. Graduate (2) 1, Marsh’s LH Dachs, Marshwick Morning Dew, attractive red, typical construction, nice head, moved cleanly all round. Not showy but sound and well made; 2, McFarlane’s Greyhound, Tallisand Armouos Mystic. Limit (1) 1, Hawkins & Smith’s Ridgeback, Veldtkammer Hot Shot of Lonaza ShCM, stylish, typical male with a super head, good feet, good topline and well bodied up, correct ridge, good tail carriage, moved well all round. Bit wide in front and would like a touch more width of second thigh. RBNSC. Open (2) 1, Williams’ Ber Ch Ulmarra Tropical Ice at Winton (ATC), a most attractive red bitch with a pretty feminine head, very typical outline with correct angulation, good topline and tail carriage, in super coat, correct feet and good angles both ends, looked a picture of elegance stacked and had light free typical profile movement; going a bit close behind. Best NSC Hound; 2, Nolcini’s Otterhound, Uisneach Absolute Joker. Afghan Hounds Graduate (2) 1, Heath’s Cloudside Music Mistress, lovely b/m cream baby, beautiful typy head, super front with good angles and return of upper arm, enough fill for age, level topline, strong sweeping rear, good tail carriage, clean free action when she was able to move on the mat, very much a baby still but an easy BOB & BP, went on to G4 and PG2; 2, Heath’s Istani Chinese Whispers. Open (1) Heath’s Davashey Who’s That Girl, strikingly coloured red brindle, nice head, good saddle and tail carriage with perfect ring, level topline. Would like more shoulder layback and better angles both ends. Beagles Post Graduate (2) 1, Roberts & Spearing’s Linkenlees Lustre, pretty girl with a very nice head, soft expression, good front with correct angles and very good fill, clean bone and good feet. Nice well angle rear, good proportions and tail carriage. Throwing her front a bit. BOB; 2, Roberts & Spearing’s Linkenlees Leandra. Open (2) 1, Roberts & Spearing’s Linkenlees Liberty ShCM, tricolour of very similar type, another very pleasing head and good outline, not much between them. Not a lot of drive behind and choppy in profile. RBOB; 2, Roberts & Spearing’s Redcap Little Gem at Linkenlees. Dachshunds (Min Smooth) Junior (3) 1, Salisbury’s Brocklewood Black Rose, what a little enchantress this b/t baby is. So typy with a lovely head, correct sound and typical construction, good keel, front and feet, clean hind movement where she scored over a good sort in second. So much brio and confidence for one so young; she showed her little socks off to take BP, RBOB and PG1; delighted to see her go on to take BPIS; 2, Smith & Connor’s Bronia Gregorio; 3, West’s Dinklesburl Florence Eve. Graduate (3) 1, B Black Rose; 2, West’s Dinkleburl Vanessa Jade; 3, Hall’s Glyndwr Lucky for Some. Open (3) 1, Salisbury’s Brocklewood Calypso JW, mature red girl, another super sort from this kennel with a typical head and strong jaw, excellent front with good shoulder, well ribbed up, correct topline, using herself really well on the move with her strong well rounded rear, good tail carriage, showed really well to take BOB & G2; 2, West’s Sandijoh Mrs Popple at Dinklesburl; 3, G Lucky for Some. Dachshunds (Min Wire) Junior (1) 1, Crow’s Campania Pandora, active, typy baby with a very attractive head and furnishings, well balanced all through, moved very well when she settled, good body for age; RBOB & BP. Post Graduate (2) 1, Boyns’ Brindeckel Diamond Geezer, well named, he is full of character and cheek. Correct proportions, good harsh furnishings, typical head and strong jaw, level topline kept on the move, clean free mover, BOB; 2, Nicholson’s Eastriding Attimo at Kingsheath. Dachshunds (Smooth) Graduate (1) Marsh’s Marshwick Harmony, b/t, very nice typy head, carried well, with strong jaw and typical expression, good front and feet, well ribbed up, level topline kept on the move, good tail carriage, clean coming and going and active in profile, in gleaming condition. BOB & G3. Limit (1) Jesse’s Hampdach Michaela, red, 8 year old lady showing her years somewhat and carrying a little too much weight, difficult to assess movement. Open (1) Jesse and Jordan’s Rill Scaramouche, b/t, nice outline, decent head, level topline, not the rear of the grad winner. RBOB. Whippets Thank you for a great entry, I really enjoyed going over so many lovely Whippets. Puppy (4) 1, Severn’s Nattah Silver Lining, upstanding cream brindle/w boy, quality head, appealing outline, decent front and feet, enough body for age, well ribbed up and stands over plenty of ground, strong rear and good tailset and carriage, covering the ground well on the move when he settled, and clean coming and going. Still plenty of time to fill in front a bit more. BP & PG3; 2, Severn & Shepherd’s Bella Maria; 3, Sanford’s Erinnis Lily of the Valley. Junior (2) 1, Sanford’s Erinnis Shades of Silver, another attractive pup who looked very good stacked; good shoulder and return of upper arm with a forechest, good length of loin and strong rear, ample depth and good feet and pasterns. He and his handler haven’t agreed yet on speed, and his movement was quite difficult to assess; 2, Ward’s Courtbirch Sebastian. Post Graduate (8) 1, Smart-McMullen’s Jzan Zizacharmer for Doobyave, well handled f/w boy with a very nice outline; scopy and elegant with good feet and pasterns, masculine head, good length of loin and strong rear with wide second things. Moved well in profile and coming and going; beat another nice one on his cleaner front. RBOB; 2, Dewart’s Felicific Hector at the Helm; 3, Severn’s Deljorhea Dream Racer at Nattah. Limit (5, 1 abs) 1, Dewart’s Felicific Sorrel Salad, pretty fawn bitch, very feminine and elegant. Decent front, feet and pasterns, well ribbed up, deep chest and scopy outline; 2, Severn’s Jasarat Serenade at Nattah; 3, Ward’s Rolangela Mister Limelight. Open (6) Super class. 1, Smith’s Turn of Gold at Yantabella JW ShCM, BOB & G1; a most attractive mature masculine hound. Nice head with strong jaw, really good front with ample fill and forechest, good return of upper arm, well laid shoulder, enough substance and a strong broad loin, strong rear which he used well on the move, broad second thighs and in good hard muscular condition; a lovely type, as was 2, Shepherd’s Nattah in Sync with Oxana JW ShCM; 3, Bristow’s Surrio Sweet Sensation. AV Hound Puppy (5, 3 w/d) 1, Marsh’s LH Dachshund, Marshwick Morning Cloud, attractive b/t baby, well proportioned with a very nice head, sound all through, not exaggerated, moved very well, honest sort; BP and PG4. 2, Hawkins, Smith and Hodges’s Ridgeback, Colkeririn Indigo Lightly at Lonanza. AV Hound Veteran (8) 1, Ferguson’s PBGV, Willowbrae Drivin Miss Daisy ShCM; it seems a very short time ago that I awarded this lovely lady a Group in her youth, and it’s difficult to believe that she is eleven now; not showing any signs of her age at all. Lovely typy well furnished head, level topline, good tail carriage, strong rear, moved round the ring as if she owned it. This is a consummate show dog and that she has kept her enthusiasm for the game to this age is an absolute credit to her owner and handler. Best Hound Veteran in a strong class; 2, Nolcini’s Otterhound, Ir Ch Cairo’s Hufflepuff; 3, Roberts and Spearing’s Beagle, Redcap Break the Mould at Linkenlees ShCM. RBOB Stakes: 1, Boden & Monaghan’s Clumber Spaniel, Tweedsmuir New Beginnings to Marshalver, very taken with this sound, attractive youngster, typical but with no exaggerations, well made all through, balanced proportions, lively free mover, topped a strong well filled class and I would hope she would go on to better things; 2, Whippet, J Zizacharmer for D; 3, Corney’s Scottish Terrier, Rilynson Sunshine Princess.
