learned I was pregnant with my first child, but at

31 weeks I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, a condition

that threatened my health and the life of my baby.

Suddenly it wasn't safe for me to be pregnant anymore.

And I knew the nurses and physicians at Chilton were

well equipped to handle babies delivered at 32 weeks
25
gestation and older.
