CPD Events It was lovely to see so many of you at our recent CPD events. The resources from the day are available to download here. During these events we took the opportunity to ask teachers whether they would be willing for us to share their contact details if another centre in their area contacted us. We are so grateful that a large number of teachers have already agreed to be added to our data base. If this is something you would also be willing to do please email Robert.Williams@wjec.co.uk Reports Principal Examiners' Reports The principal examiners' reports for June 2015 are now available on the Psychology webpages. Centres are advised to read the report carefully as it provides helpful observations and commentary on the work produced for this series and can assist teachers in preparing their students for the next series of examinations. Examiner and Moderator Vacancies We value the contribution you as experienced teachers and lecturers make in assessing students’ work, ensuring that candidates are given a fair result which accurately reflects their ability. If you are interested in examining for us, please apply online via https://appointees.wjec.co.uk. 5 CPD Presenters WJEC is looking to appoint subject specialists to add to our team of presenters who undertake occasional CPD training for teachers. The work will include visits to schools or colleges requiring further information on our new GCE specification and presenting at our CPD events across England and Wales. Applications are therefore invited from serving and former teachers and others with an educational background in one of the subject areas. As WJEC qualifications are increasing in popularity across both countries, we welcome interest from both England and Wales. Serving teachers should check with their line manager that they may be released for up to five days per year. To apply please visit our appointees page.
