Dear Graduate, The Transcript provided by King’s College London School of Medicine and the Dental Institute at Guy’s, King’s College and St. Thomas’ Hospitals are certified documents that include your full-name, date of birth, course and date of enrolment. It details the course components for each academic year and confirms the dates attended and final degree awarded. The production of transcripts can take up to approximately 2 weeks. However, the turn over may be longer, particularly if it necessitates archive searches or in busier periods i.e. Examinations or Enrolment. The transcript document prepared by this office do not routinely contain any grades/marks attained in any part of the programme. A simple pass/fail statement with details of any merits or distinctions awarded following the end of year examinations are of course included. In addition, if applicable the intercalated BSc. year, subject and degree classification are included. If you have been asked to submit a transcript with grades/marks this will need to be made clear to us together with any other specifics or special instructions. Please use the form attached to indicate this or a separate cover letter. There is a minimum charge of £15.00 applied for the production of Transcripts Graduates can receive up to 5 original copies for that fee. Further copies ie 6, 7 or more will be charged at an extra £1.00 each. Work on your transcript will only commence when both the completed application form and payment have been received Please note if you require transcripts at a later date, this will be considered as a separate application and will be charged at the above rate. POSTAGE ROYAL MAIL Normally, Transcripts and Verification documents will be posted as per your instructions via Royal Mail 1 st Class post or Airmail. COURIER It is also possible to request that completed documents are collected from our office by a ‘Federal Express’ agent however, this must be arranged and paid for by you. Approximate cost for a Fedex courier to the USA is £36.00. AIRSURE ‘Airsure’ is an alternative speedier and secure way of ensuring your urgent and important documents are guaranteed to be handled with priority during transit here and overseas with an online tracking facility. This service costs approximately £6.00 for envelopes going to the USA and will be delivered 1 - 2 days faster than Royal Mail. See their website. Clients will be billed for this separately once the final cost is established from our post room team.
