This Show is hosted by the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition. This show is Sanctioned by the Canadian
Goat Society and their Rules Shall Govern.
This Show is Sanctioned for Alpine, Toggenburg, (AOP) All Other Purebred Breeds.
Two Meat Goat Classes will be offered, and Grade Does can be shown also (No Papers) See Entry form
for list of classes.
All Animals must be on Site Wednesday by 12:00p.m. with Tattoo and Health Check being conducted
between 12:30p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Three CGS Members in Good Standing will conduct the Health Check.
Those wish to arrive earlier, may do so, however no earlier than Tuesday Evening August 25, 2015.
Registration Papers must be present on show day NO PHOTOCOPIES will be accepted. NO PAPERS,
NO SHOW. Please make sure that all Tattoos are legible.
Entries should be sent directly to Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition. Cheques and /or Money Orders
Payable to NS Provincial Exhibition. Entry Fee: $3.00 per Goat. ENTRY DEADLINE: Monday
August 10, 2015
Substitutions will be only allowed, within a class only, before 12pm
Refer to the back of the entry form for the list of Breed Classes and Specialty Classes that are to be
judged on Wednesday August 26, 2015.
The following Specialty Classes will be offered. No Entry Fee Charge. Please record the proper Class number
and the Animals that will be used in each class (animals must be entered in regular classes)
Junior Showmanship aged 15 and under
Open Showmanship 16 + and those over the hill, still looking for their goat.
Dam and Daughter - All Breeds
Junior Get of Sire - All Breeds (3 Dry Does)
Senior Get of Sire - All Breeds (3 Senior Does in Milk)
Breeders Herd - All Breeds (Milker, Dry Yearling, Kid owned by exhibitor)
Dairy Herd – All Breeds (4 Does in Milk owned by the exhibitor)
The Animals will be housed in the Agri-Dome, and we ask that all exhibitors to maintain their pens and
area by keeping it tidy and clean at all times.
Invite other breeders to come / participate at our show and enjoy the day at the NSPE.
