Look after an effective and realistic maintenance of the road net work through out the Republic and for this purpose the road maintenance fund has been established. Total executed lengths for tertiary roads are 2971 km. Total asphalted urban road links comprise of approximately about 46,419,674 sq.m in all governorates (provinces ) of the Republic.
