Manufacturing Technicians
(06:00 to 14:00 shift and 13:45 to 21:45 shift)
Dechra Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing, Skipton, manufacturers of a wide range of global
pharmaceutical products, are looking to recruit Manufacturing Technicians.
The Role:
Working within a highly regulated environment to the highest quality, safety and Good
Manufacturing Practices and reporting to a Shift Supervisor, you will be required to:

Perform manufacturing activities including the operation and cleaning of equipment
Complete associated documentation accurately and in a timely manner, in line with strict
procedures
The Person:
The successful candidates will:




Have previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment, ideally within the
pharmaceutical industry
Have good literacy skills
Have worked within a team environment previously
Be conscientious in their approach to all tasks
Be able to undertake manual handling duties up to 25 kilos
These are permanent shift positions, covering either 06:00-14:00 (attracts shift premium of 7%), or,
13:45 to 21:45 (attracts shift premium of 22%), Monday to Friday. Salary on commencement for this
position is £7.82 with potential to increase to £9.52 with training and experience. Whilst training
you will be required to work the day shift from 8am to 4.30pm (no shift premium).
