AMERICAN MUSEUM NOVITATES 3783 – AUTHORS’ CORRIGENDA
In Pritchard et al. (2013), we incorrectly stated that the dataset used in the phylogenetic
analysis was adapted from Turner and Sertich (2010). The matrix in Pritchard et al (2013)
was in fact a prepublication version of Turner and Sertich (2010). Thus it did not include
the modifications to characters 78 and 120 that were in the final version of Turner and
Sertich (2010). Characters 294, 295, 298, and 301 of Pritchard et al. (2013) were unique
to the analysis presented in the paper, whereas characters 300 and 301 of Turner and
Sertich (2010) were unique to their analysis. The maximum parsimony analysis of
Pritchard et al (2013) was run without any characters excluded and all characters were
unordered and equally weighted. We note that the goniopholidid relationships recovered
by Pritchard et al. (2013) are corrobrated by Turner (2015) and Turner and Pritchard
(2015), which are modified from the Turner and Sertich (2010) dataset.
The caption of figure 19 incorrectly stated that 301 characters were analyzed. This
number should have been 304.
We thank Thomas Adams for assistance in noting the discrepancy.
