In cases where a GCSE grade is required in the subject and the student has not previously studied the subject,
the decision to admit to the course is dependent upon the discretion of the Head of Department/Subject in the
first instance. If unsuccessful, an appeal can be made to the Head of Sixth Form and following this to the
Principal. An appeal to the Principal is the final recourse of action.
