FIELD SERVICE MANAGER
Education and Training Requirements:
 Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation
 At least 8 years working as a commissioning engineer in oil and gas sector
 Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in the same capacity of Field Services or
Site Commissioning Manager
 Middle East experience is mandatory
Skill and Competency Requirements:
 Must have proven experience in leading a team of Senior and commissioning and junior
commissioning engineers
 Familiar with various international codes and standards
 Knowledgeable on control systems like DCS, PLC, and SCADA
 Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive
relationships with clients
 Proficient in MS Office packages
 Good command of spoken and written English
Duties and Responsibilities:
 To drive and manage the Field Services department and work with other departments to
meet all the field services requirements of the client base
 Continually assess the Company’s workload in terms of providing all required field
services for all its clients.
 Continually assess resources requirements for the Field Services department to meet the
work demand and the needs of our clients. Such assessment includes both quantitative
analysis as well as required set of skills.
 Drive the generation and continuous update of the field services biweekly schedule as
well as the monthly report.
 Drive the generation and continuous update of the 90 days look-ahead for all field
services work commitments.
 Drive the development and continuous update of skills matrix and competency register
for all field services engineers, and project engineers that provide frequent support to
the Field Services department.
 Master the resource allocation for the required field services work and conduct the
coordination with all the other related departments Projects, such as Engineering and
Administration.
 Work with other departments to maximize order intake and profitability of the Field
Services department.
 Manage the refresher’s training programs and additional skills training programs for all
assigned field services engineers.
 Consolidate Company’s procedures related to the conduct of field services engineers at
site and whenever in communication with the clients, and ensure that such procedures
are followed.
 Consolidate and update Company’s procedures related to briefing/debriefing of all field
services, engineers before mobilization and after demobilization and ensure that such
procedures are followed.

Manage the verification and approval of the correct revision of
drawings/documentation/software versions/carried work by the field services engineers at the
end of each assignment.
 Work with other departments to ensure that all as built documents and software are
prepared and archived in a timely manner after the completion of the related work.
 Work with all related departments starting with Finance to ensure timely release of all
invoices related to the field services work.
 Ensure that all field services engineers are fully supported when at site. This involves daily
communication and obtaining technical and administrative support as required
