Meets Mondays, 10:30 am to 1:20 pm  3 Credit Hours
In this applied and translational learning course, made possible by
the partnership between the Purdue Institute for Civic
Communication, C-SPAN, the university’s Office of Institutional
Assessment, and the nationally respected polling firm Penn Schoen
Berland, students will create a series of national polls to take the
pulse of American civic competence. They will then analyze the
results and present their findings in an open forum.
For the Fall 2015 semester, Brian Lamb, founder and executive
chairman of C-SPAN -- and a Purdue alumnus – will join as a
contributing instructor guiding students on current issues and
challenges.
