PIANO FOR LITTLE FINGERS
Ages 3-6
A group piano class for little
fingers! This class is for children
who have never taken piano
lessons or for those who have
started traditional lessons, but
ended up frustrated or bored.
We will be using a new creative
book called, "Piano for
Preschoolers". During the fall
semester, your little one will
quickly learn to play familiar
songs using a durable color strip
that corresponds with the
colored notes in the music
book! Class time will consist of
keyboard-playing, singing, and
music theory games, like
"Rhythm Twister" and "Melody
Hopscotch" on a giant felt

Study the art basics. Learn the
essentials of line, shape, form,
color, value and perspective.
This class provides the basics
necessary to develop an
artistically strengthened mind.

These art classes are based on a
classical art education. Classes
include drawing with graphite,
charcoal, colored pencils, pastel,
watercolors, acrylics, mixed
medium, clay, wire, print medium,
handmade paper and puppets.
Advanced students will be
encouraged to build on their
desired medium and work more
independently with the teacher
acting as more of a mentor and
facilitator. New and intermediate
students will watch demonstrations
and have instruction with specific
goals for learning the basics of
composition and design within each
discipline. This class will foster a
well-rounded familiarity in the
different disciplines offered.
“Process learning“
will be promoted in this class with
the hope of students desiring to
work freely and happily toward
producing works of art they are
proud of. Mimi’s goal is each
student trying and learning new
skills and having fun with art
experimentation. You will learn
about Oklahoma, American and
world artists, past and present, who
have worked in the various
mediums we study. Students are
required to bring to class a
PORTFOLIO in which to store their
art. They need a small sketchbook,
with a zip lock bag containing a
pencil, sharpener and eraser.

In this exploration of all things
installation, students will challenge
their aptitude for art making to

the viewer in an environment made

monologues and even a one-act play to
present for our friends and loved ones

In this class, specific brush stroke
techniques, color combinations and

ACRYLIC LANDSCAPE PAINTING
Painting with acrylics is rewarding,
versatile and fun. Native Oklahoma
artist Thomas Stotts will teach his
personal techniques used to create
the unique landscapes and
structures in his paintings. Through

individual instruction and practice,
you will learn the characteristics of
acrylics, composition, perspective,
distance, depth, light, shadows and
