Summer Reading Information 2013-2014
Upon return from summer vacation, you will be responsible for passing grades on the following assessments:
1) Three Graphic Organizers: You will need to create one graphic organizer for each book choice. You must
have one organizer for the fiction title, one for the nonfiction title, and one for the play. Each section of
each organizer must be well developed and complete. Bring in a printed copy ON THE DAY YOU
RETURN, and be ready to submit an electronic copy to turnitin.com during the first few days of school.
These organizers are available on our school website. No other organizers will be accepted.
2) Objective and Written Assessments: During the first few days of school, you will be required to take a test
on each of the books you read. These tests will be a combination of essay, short answer, and objective
questions.
