A REPORT Visit to Bal Sudhar Sec. School and was impressed with the DAP, Australian Embassy supported computer and education IT program. They shared their email address with the teacher and student of the school and initiated an IT relation. CN initiated the program at Ms. Fritha Turner and Ms. Iona Turner initiated fund raising at Maid Stone Grammar school for Girls in UK after their visit at Bal Sudhar Sec. School. The fund was collected saving the students snacks expenses of their school. The total fund collected was 2400.00 pound sterling. CN managed solar power backup by the collected fund and has setup in the Bal Sudhar School. Duwachaur VDC of Sindhupalchok district in partnership with Child Welfare Scheme (CWS UK) from 2008 and is coordinating and cooperating with the community people. Among various sub-programs of MEV, SchoolSchool, Student-Student and Teachers-Teachers IT Relation program is also a prominent one. INTRODUCTION A team of eight members from Maid Stone Grammar School for Girls visited the Bal Sudhar Secondary School at Duwachaur VDC of Sindhupalchok, Nepal from 3rd-4th April 2010. The objectives behind their visit were to observe the program that they have supported 2|Page and to formally initiate the IT relation between School-School, student-student and teacherteacher of Maid Stone Grammar school with that of Bal Sudhar Secondary School. CN Chairperson Mr. Krishna Subedi facilitated in having interaction between these two schools. WELCOME AT SCHOOL When the team arrived at the school, a welcome ceremony was organized and school principal Mr. Gyanendra Shrestha, the School Management Committee including Chairperson Mr. Arjun Giri, teachers and students welcomed all the guests with flowers and Khada (Nepali white and soft silken muffler). The team had an interaction with the facilitators and CN chairperson Mr. Krishna Subedi further shared details about the CDC.
