Studies have found that regular walking, particularly at a brisk pace of three miles per hour, can substantially reduce the risk of developing heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Additionally, simply performing 30 minutes of moderate physical activity at least five times a week has significant health benefits and can lower the risk of developing or dying from hypertension or type 2 diabetes while improving the health of muscles, bones, and joints.
