Year 3 Weather Around the World homework This week, we are giving you a list of Weather homework activities. Each week over the half term we will ask you to select activities from the list below. Make a wind catcher Measure the rainfall each day over a period of 5 days. Record the results in a bar chart. Research the weather in a different country and make a poster to show what you have learnt. You might want to think about how the weather affects hobbies and lifestyles in this country. Write a poem based on a type of weather. Write or record yourself performing a weather report. (You could create the performance in pairs) Create a sundial Research an extreme weather and present the information as a PowerPoint or a leaflet. Make a kite Make a tornado in a jar. There is a link below which will show you how to do this. Bring it into school to show the class and explain what a tornado is. Complete a weather comprehension. Collect the comprehension from your teacher as we are not able to put it on the website.
