MMU MERIT SCHOLARSHIP 2013
Multimedia University is giving out scholarships to high achievers. “Merit Scholarship”, a financial assistance
programme that rewards and aids high performing Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan
Malaysia (STPM) / A-Level leavers. The Merit Scholarship is a programme that aids the recipient by reducing the
tuition fees of Foundation and Bachelor courses either by 25 %, or by 50 %.
To qualify:



Malaysian citizens
Successfully received an Admission offer letter for June 2013 intake.
Possess SPM / STPM / A level with the following conditions :SPM with 7As or 8As - 25 % discount on tuition fees
SPM with 9As and above - 50% discount on tuition fees
STPM / A level with CGPA 3.50 – 3.74 - 25 % discount on tuition fees
STPM / A level with min CGPA of 3.75 - 50% discount on tuition fees





Merit Application Form

Merit Application form can be obtained from Bursary Unit, Finance Division Melaka Campus & Cyberjaya
Campus starting from 3RD June 2013. Dateline for application is on 7th June 2013.
Merit scholarship recipients are eligible to continue to receive a scholarship throughout the remaining duration of
their studies in Multimedia University subject to excellent academic performance depending on the scholarship
percentage category that they hold. Details are as follows:
Result / CGPA
1st Trimester
2nd Trimester Onwards :
CGPA 3.67 and above
CGPA 3.33 – 3.66
CGPA 3.33 and below
Discount Entitlement
Based on SPM/ STPM / A level Qualification as above
50% from the trimester fee
25% from the trimester fee
Scholarship shall be terminated
