Pre-Service Foster Parent Training Is Offered By Butte
College Foster/Kinship Education
This training is for people that are going through the process of becoming foster parents or
a foster parent that just wants to refresh their approach. Butte College is offering 15 hours
of training each month which meets the mandated Pre-Service Foster Parent training hours
needed or ongoing training needs. The training will be held at the Butte College Foster/Kinship
Care Education Center 2491 Carmichael Dr., Suite 300, 95928 (in Chico). Adult’s only there is
not childcare available. Anyone is welcome and there is no charge for this training. * Please bring a
2” binder for your materials (one per household).
