The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop advanced skills and techniques for use
in debate and forensic activities. After successfully completing this course, the student will:
1. Demonstrate advanced knowledge and use of various debate formats (e.g., panel
discussion, team debate, Lincoln-Douglas, political debate).

LA.A.1.4.3 refine vocabulary for interpersonal,
academic, and workplace situations, including
figurative, idiomatic, and technical meanings.
