Name: Personal number or date of birth: Academic Statement This Academic Statement should show that you are academically prepared to submit your application for exchange studies. The principle of exchange studies is that the courses you study at your host university should be transferable for credit (evaluated and transferred to Swedish higher education credits at Linnaeus University) after you have completed your exchange studies and thus become part of your education/degree from Linnaeus University. In addition to course selection, language is an important aspect and you therefore need to show in this Academic Statement that you have found out if the courses will be taught in English at your host university. If the courses are not offered in English you need to have the equivalent of B1-B21 competency in the language of instruction. Only choose host universities that you really want to study at and which match your education. Do not add alternatives only because you are able to select 6 host universities. Do not write the same host university more than once. This Academic Statement means: that you have found out what your study programme at Linnaeus University requires for your exchange studies that you know that this is offered at all your selected host universities that you know the language of instruction and that you have the required competency of that language that you have discussed your exchange studies with your faculty (international coordinator/study councellor/head of programme or subject coordinator). All questions must be answered for your Academic Statement to be complete! Don’t forget to add your name and Personal number or date of birth in the document header. _________________________________________________________ 1. Have you: a.
