Elizabeth Frankenfield 313 Grove Avenue Des Plaines, IL 60016 Elizabeth.frankenfie@my.rfums.org 630-453-0040 05/1/2015 Physical Rehabilitation Group South Carolina Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing to apply for a full-time physical therapy position at Physical Rehabilitation Group. Physical Rehabilitation Group is known for providing high quality outpatient care in privately owned and operated facilities. I would want to work at Physical Rehabilitation Group Institute for numerous reasons. The passion demonstrated in the employees at Physical Rehabilitation Group aligns with my passion to provide effective and superior skilled physical therapy to restore independence to patients. I want to work in an environment that is patient centered, and strives to individualize and tailor to the specific needs of the population they are serving, in which I believe Physical Rehabilitation Group has mastered. Through completing four clinical rotations in various settings, I was able to grow as a clinician and expand my clinical experience from the student’s perspective. During my first clinical rotation at a hospital affiliated outpatient site, I was able to solidify my use of all modality equipment in a competent and effective manner. At my second clinical rotation in an outpatient orthopedic setting, I dove into the world of lymphedema, and gained a new career interest in becoming certified in the future. My third clinical rotation, outpatient pediatrics, opened my eyes to a host of genetic, neuromuscular, and congenital conditions in which the use of aquatic therapy was extremely beneficial for vast functional improvements. My final clinical was placed in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital that fully committed to viewing their patients in an all-encompassing manner. I was given the opportunity to work with a C4-5 spinal cord injury patient who progressed from passive ROM bedside to ambulating out of the front door on his last day of therapy, truly a life changing experience during my time at the hospital. If you agree that I would be a good fit for you team, please contact me anytime at 630-453-0040 or Elizabeth.frankenfie@my.rfums.org. Thank you very much, in advance, for your consideration. I hope to hear from you soon.
